Maybe they need time to set up everything. Even if I can't think of a reason because they'd take so much time to open it.

Nexon are trying their best. Yes, there still some flaws, but they are improving. so 4.
I voted 3 stars. I made my feelings pretty clear when chewing out Pepe but yeah, even since this promise was made we've been seeing them regress into their old ways very often.
Public apology and beheading of one of their employees is all that will get my support at this point. Maybe we can go without the beheading but a sincere VIDEO apology would be swell. Writing is the easiest way to fake sympathy and empathy. Obviously they know how we feel. HA.
I would say they have definitely improved, but then again to be honest they couldn't have sunk much lower. They still have a good but to go but I’m hopeful.

You cant really say much about #2 yet, quoting "months"
But I have seen a significant number of fewer hackers, as a matter of fact, none since the patch. However they do have to do something about the meso selling and power leveling ads in their own game, because not only is it losing them money, but also annoys players. Why would I want to see an fm full of that? >_>
Other than the glitch adressing, which was kinda blunt on the first try, I can't say anything about #3 since I haven't had any problems to report via ticketing.

I had to spend 8 hours on 2x drop to find a maple shield.
What is that? a twisted way to make money off 2x drops?
The only good thing they have done so far is to eliminate the hackers.
But I believe I saw one yesterday while I was hunting for my shield... = =

They've definitely stepped up their game with the banning of hackers. They've kept us updated on what's up, sure; they'll tell us that they'll fix the glitches in 0.70, but for them to not take action towards the issue immediately isn't anything new.
Their customer service still sucks, too. Haven't seen any bit of improvement there, especially since I've had a lot of friends and guildies send in tickets throughout the past few weeks regarding anything from altar-holding pricks to Paypal issues, and they all get the same old automated response/closed, unresolved ticket.
Aside from banning hackers with more efficiency (Which is pretty damn significant, don't get me wrong), they haven't done much.

They've improved a lot, it feels, but their refusing to (immediately) fix two major glitches is what keeps them from being great.

As has been echoed through the majority of the responses on this board, the hacker problem has significantly gone away. However, they still have missed some of them in Mardia, and at this point, it doesn't look like they are going to ban them anytime soon. At least their hacking attempts are curbed at the moment. I'm only hoping the Maple PI system will lead to better communication between players and the administrators in the future.
Their customer service seems to be a bit better, but a bit draconian too. One of my oldest Maple friends was perma-banned a while ago for accusations of being a hacker during the great purge, and he never hacked. He logged a ticket, and within a week, Nexon realized they made a mistake and unbanned him. Then a week later, he was 1-month banned for being on his account with an inappropriate ign. So that was a string of bad luck on his side.
And content wise, frankly this never really bothered me too much. The only things I ever look forward to is Timeless Temple and Maker skill, but it would have been nice if the Puff Daddy Cake Boss were summoned in town a bit more often, as hunting him down really made the last anniversary memorable. I do like how they are making better efforts to communicate what they are adding/fixing in each server check or patch.
Quick summary: good on banning hackers, but still missed some infamous ones; they seem to be responding to tickets, but need to use better discretion; and content is fine by me, but I can see why some players could complain about this.

Yeah, I voted 4 stars because they're at least trying to be a better company. I mean they've been doing a great job on getting rid of private servers, a better job than they were before on responsing to glitches (sort of), and a better job at banning hackers, although just like you said, there are still some biggies left in Mardia.
If you limit your sight to Maple Story, they've improved, slightly. Mabinogi's improved a bit too, my friend tells me. Combat Arms is a lost cause. *links to NX Nade Rant*
