If Jett was supposed to come tomorrow, the game would go live tomorrow with Jett and the maintenance starts tonight. This is with every patch.
The Old Maple stuff was to come out on June 1st and the maintenance started on the night of May 31st.
If the maintenance started tomorrow, it would mean that there would be no events running tomorrow, which is rare and has only happened twice this year.

Wasn't Old Maple supposed to come out on May 31st? (referred to as the content for long-term players coming out late-May in that one Dev Blog)

The events end today.
Typically, the day after all the events end is when the next patch arrives not when they bring the down game for maintenance. There is rarely ever a day where there are no events whatsoever.

I am, I spent 2bil trying to epic pot, mirac chaos & scroll an empress pirate cape in preparation for it and it lost all of the attack after I got it potted.
At least the epic pot scroll didn't blow it up I guess!

I wouldn't be surprised if Jett is a mage pirate. Since the bounty hunter rewards are all magic attack related.
