At last, done with field work, for now. Man, last month and a half were hellish and I still need to do my undergraduate research.
I've been exposed to the sun so much, it looks like i've darken 6 shades on my arms and face. Yes, I look like a raccoon, except not as cool. Ah well. I better sleep, that's one thing I've had a lack of lately. That and money.
edit: Scratch that no money part.
I'm getting scholarship moneyz!
My god, is this what life looks like when she's not violating your anus? She's so beautiful. I'm so frigging happy right now!
Played open mic with a friend. Rocked it.
I keep forgetting that Jackets are not in season, so they're hard to come by.
Currently "borrowing" a X360 and playing FFXIII, and I also keep forgetting that this was made my Square Enix.
In short:Went Jacket hunting, Played a crappy game.
So tired today. The caffeine.. it did not work.
I'm so damn shy. There is this really amazingly good looking girl who delivers stuff to our house every week, she seems really nice and i think she's interested in me, but I just CANNOT speak to her for the life of me. My dad has no problem talking to her, they have conversations and are friendly, but today when i answered the door to her i basically gave her a half-arsed smile, said about 5 polite words to her and i didn't say 'Goodbye' until i had almost closed the door in a rush to back out of the conversation.
Seriously, slay me now.
Next time she comes to the door, don't initiate a conversation or anything and just look into her eyes (In a polite way, not like a creepy way) and don't say anything. When she finally either gives a bashful "Hehe what?" or a "Er.. What?" just blurt out "Would you like to do something some time?"
I can almost guarantee for this to work. Just do it, it'll help you get rid of your shyness. I have faith in you :chin:
Yeah that doesn't work at all.
3.5 on my efunds test, and my new laptop just came in like an hour ago. Runs DNest on high settings while streaming no problem.
It's raining, people are cutting my neighbor's jungle of a front-yard, and I'm stuck at home with a sick person.
...And it's only 10am.
X360 gets one red ring, found my PS1 in the attic, were we barely store ANYTHING, so this was a shocker to find. I also found a messload of good books my grandpa kept.
One that caught my eye was "Different Seasons" by Stephen King. I've herd this was where Shawshank originated, and I never saw the movie as a whole yet, so, why not read the original first? Looks like I got some reading to do...and it makes the end of my summer just a little more bearable.
work week is over! :D took tomorrow off to spend the day with my friend who's leaving to costa rica for TWO WEEKS :( i don't know what i'm gonna do without her
Inventory today. Worked 10 hours lol.
Not ready for today, ow
I feel so ill today. My temperature is through the roof, I'm shaking and dizzy and my body aches all over, it hurts to move my eyes damn it!
I couldn't take the day off work because there was already 3 people off in our department, leaving just me and 2 others. So i just manned up and put up with it, for the entire day doing physical labour, and it got worse and worse. I'm now lying in bed and seriously considering calling in sick tomorrow because i just can't do it again. I haven't felt this bad since i got Swine Flu, and that had me stuck at home for 3 weeks.
On another note, smacked myself hard in the nose when i was wrapping something at work, the damn roll snapped as i was wrapping it at high speed, it flew up along with my hand and smacked me in the nose so hard my head flew back. I'm seriously surprised that i didn't have a nose bleed.
I came home from Pennsylvania today and I was excited to be coming home but now I remember why I hate California so much again and I'm hella sad now but ehh 8 ping from Nexon again can't go that back east!
Oh yeah I also got an iPad but I have to share with my sisters do AKA it's theres.
Something happened today that has never happened to me before. Someone tripped my transgendar.
I was at a grocery store through the checkout lane when I saw the cashier. M->F pre-op - very obvious. She was thin as a rail, no hips, wide shoulders, male jawline, but growing breasts. She also had the stereotypical high voice. I felt bad for her. I remember I had always told myself that I would treat these people the same. I tried as best as I could, but it was difficult to not notice that she was different. It seemed so glaring.
Then after she completed my order as I was leaving, I thought, "Kudos to her. She's doing something she really wants to do despite societal pressure. That's not something many people can claim."
I hope she gets what she wants and that someday she'll fool me.
