Got back into TERA: Rising and made an Elin Berserker. She's adorable, but the slow gameplay makes me long to play a Warrior, or even a Lancer. Sticking with Elins too, since Castanic females have enough armor to make a purse, and that's not my cup of tea when playing.
Started Dota 2 and am complete rubbish at it. Still mucking around in tutorials and forgetting to buy items. I last hit like a dying monkey through artful flailing of my mouse.
Beat Bravely Default, screw that final boss.
Alternating between TERA and Shin Megami Tensei IV for now.
So a friend showed me this logic puzzle game called 2048. It works on your phone and whatnot without needing to download anything. It's pretty addicting, so I'd recommend it to people that likes to waste time or has nothing else to do xD... Been playing it in between breaks and all...

Infamous: Second Son: Started the "Hero" playthrough today. Got Neon powers and the basic power-ups before calling it for the night. Sister beat "Infamous" side on day 2 release.

Infamous: Second Son: Beat "True Hero" mode tonight and finished the file off with 100%. Sister came home for the weekend and also finished off her file with 100%. We got every trophy except "Platinum" and "Expert Mode".
100% my cheevos in Dark Souls 2 last night. That game pretty much consumed my month.
Moving back to Lightning Returns and hopefully some other games in my backlog.
Been playing The Witch and The Hundred Knight. The story gets surprisingly dark for a NIS game, but still manages to have funny moments in it. I also really like how they present the boss fights. Quick explanation is that the bosses have two bars; HP and Guard. The Guard bar fluctuates when an enemy does an attack, and is at it's weakest just before and just after they attack. If you hit an enemy while they arn't attacking you'll do pathetic damage...like...less than 10 when they have 2000 or so HP early game. So you need to learn an enemies attack pattern and how to dodge them. In fact the game even rewards you for dodging correctly. If you dodge just before an attack connects you perform a "Mythical Dodge" and everything but you goes slow-mo for 5 seconds or so. There's also a time management type of system going on, since you constantly burn "gcals". If they run out you lose HP every second, take 30% more damage, and do 30% less damage. So you can't stay in levels, or in boss fights, for too long unless you replenish them.
Long story short fun game with a dark, but kind of interesting (so far), story, quirky humour and an emphasis on exploring, real time management, and skill based gameplay.
Started diving back into GTA5 Online.
It's fun but the lack of interaction with randoms is off-putting.
Infamous: Second Son: Ran through "Infamous" Expert mode and got Platinum. Now just doing weekly Paper Trail updates.
Mario Kart 7: Also had this game since release and never touched it until this past Friday due to sickness. 3-starred 50cc and 100cc and 2/3-starred 150cc. Will probably do the same for Mirror Mode and be done with the game. 3-star is a peach and a half on 150cc. Plus I just wanted something to tide me over to get through this sickness.
About 6 hours into Dark Souls. Almost at Blighttown, stopped for now at Depths because I've got virtually permanent (for now) halved HP and I have to fight both bosses with no mistakes, otherwise I get one-shotted.

Just picked up Bravely Default, and Injustice. Liking the whole mechanic of "set to sleep, get village progress," works really well with my lifestyle.

Mario Kart 7: Finished off 150cc and Mirror Mode with 2+ Stars. No point in going for 3 stars other than OCD / perfectionist factor since I don't have access to Wi-Fi or RL friends with the game.
Bravely Default: Got it as an Easter present. Playing the game is vary staggering amounts. Got the Black Mage job and going to the next town.
I'm trying DESPERATELY to get at least decently far in Faster Than Light, but DAMN it is difficult. I mean, all it take is one tough rebel ship and I'm left frantically trying to manage my crew while my whole ship is on fire with no shields and my weapons are down... bah.
Currently going old school and playing the remake of Persona 2: Innocent Sin. I'm not that far into the game yet but it sure is fun negotiating with demons!

I've been playing too much Rune Factory lately. That game just has a lot of things to do to keep you busy for a looong while. But I like it though and being close to the harvest moon games... So I just find it sort of amusing trying to plant and grow stuff, and you get a part of your field filled with giant veggies at one morning.

I started playing Strife, a MOBA that is currently in beta.
The game is not complicated at all but it does require alot of teamwork, it doesn't matter how fed you are if your team doesn't cooperate you will lose.
Hearthstone is a fun game. I started a few weeks ago and despite the fact that I don't play it that much do to school/work/etc, I don't feel far behind since all I'm doing in the game is trying to get all the heroes to lv 10 and then start fighting online opponents. :b

Also a fun realization: a fully leveled monk (or anything with high atk) + dark knight skillset, with the support abilities multitask, cleave, knuckle lore, and natural talent = fist of the north star.
FINALLY beat the final boss of FTL: Faster Than Light for the first time. It was on easy mode.. but damn, baby steps. Took me like 20 tries with various different ships before I finally got lucky enough. I was using the Crystal Cruiser.

I'm playing through Final Fantasy 13 - 2 while i wait for Mario Kart 8 to come out.
I got the original like 2 years ago and played for the first hour or so and hated it but after liking the X/X2 remaster i gave it another go and liked it a lot, and now i'm onto the sequel.
Started to play Watch_Dogs.. not that interested in it at the moment. It's missing the typical flair that comes with Ubisoft - Character is bland.
Will be starting on the Metal Gear Legacy Collection tonight once it arrives today. I'm pretty much dead set on playing a complete play through if I have the time.
Bravely Default: Still getting somewhere...slowly. Recently got the "Alchemist" job.
Kirby: Triple Deluxe: Got it to play while on Vacation. Ended up getting a 100% file in a few days. Archer ability most broken pomegranate in [True] Arena. Farmed keychains in 1-2 with Wing ability in about 2.5min per run.
Mario Kart 8: 3-star 50cc and 100cc. Currently sitting at 1500ish VR for Online and have over 900 coins collected thus far.
About to finally check out Smite! It may sound wimpy--I do enjoy MOBAs quite a lot, but I like the ones that aren't so complicated and have a decent community, so I tend to avoid the big named ones like DOTA 2 and LoL. I've seen a lot of gameplay of Smite and I'm really digging it. Also opted in for the beta of Heroes of the Storm, so I hope I get into that too.
And in 2 days, I'll be going out to grab my copy of Animal Crossing on acid... er, I mean, Tomodachi Life.

Finally picked up inFamous Second Son last week, beat it in a day or two. Gonna do it again on expert & evil to get the rest of the trophies. I've become a bit of a trophy whore lately. The past day or two I've been trying to get the plat for PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate but the online multiplayer trophies are proving to be fairly annoying.

I was feeling nostalgic, so I started playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue and went into Purity Forest. For those of you who haven't played the game, this is the hardest dungeon because you can only bring in one pokemon, said pokemon gets reverted to lv 1, you can't bring any items, you can't recruit any pokemon during the dungeon, and to top it off the dungeon is 98 floors.
Most of the dungeon went pretty well since I went in with Alakazam (crazy high defenses and teleport at lv 1) and I found an Attract TM early on. Fast foward to floor 90 and the enemies are doing respectable damage and I'm running low on max elixers for teleport. I get to floor 95 and think finishing up will be a breeze since I spawned in the room with the stairs, but a Parasect and two Tropius are in the same map. The item I was saving for a moment like this got sealed a few floors ago, so I was promptly Spored and KO'd :/
Just beat Wind Waker HD on Hero Mode. :)
God that game is still fantastic even after all these years, such a classic.

Tales of Xillia: With Xillia 2 releasing next week, figured I might as well finish Milla's "NG+ Unknown" story while also trying to Platinum the game as well. Right at the end of Chapter 2 and have around 60% completion on trophies so far. Been mostly playing catchup on sub-events making sure I don't miss any since the trophy is EASILY missable.
I've gotten Animal Crossing several months ago, but it was only recently that I've actually got around to actively playing it. So I'm here decorating my town with paths, trees, and whatnot as well as running around catching stuff and see a random villager sit on a bench... I built the bench a while ago and being my first project, but I've never actually seen anyone else sit on it before, so I found it neat.

Got sucked into warframe by some of my friends and my god, I haven't had this much fun in a free to play in years.
Returned to my finished Megaman Starforce 3 game to try and get Libra noise for the HP+500/350 ability.
Since I'm playing Red Joker version, it's only a 3% chance or so of getting Libra noise. >.>
Tales of Xillia 2: I finally got around to beating the game today purely on "Hard Mode", got all 3 main endings (Bad, Normal, True). There were too many goddamn feels in the last two chapters of the game. Lots of tears were shed. Going to start working on EX Elite Monsters and the EX Dungeon tomorrow. Not sure how far I'll get with Hyrule Warriors being released this Friday.
I basically only progressed in the game's story whenever my sisters visited for the weekend and we played together, but last Sunday was the last time they're visiting until Thanksgiving so I got the "A-Ok" to finish up the game.
I have been playing Archeage, its really good! I have also finished persona 3 portable and I am on new game plus.
Well, finally done with what I needed for Starforce 3, just gotta see if I can find Crimson Dragon Sigma.
Also, fully beat Starforce 2 (With the exception of the DX bosses and certain doors in the Trans-Dimension 2 area).

Tales of Xillia 2: Beat all EX Elite monsters and beat a couple "Shadow" bosses in EX dungeon. Also got all "Devil's Arms" weapons. Title farming for grade for NG+ "Unknown" whenever I get around to playing it again.
Hyrule Warriors: Finished "Legend Mode" and started working on the 2nd run through for Gold Skulltulas. Did a little bit of "Adventure Mode".
Super Paper Mario: On hiatus while I finish up Hyrule Warriors, but enjoying it so far!
Hyrule Warriors: nearly 200 hours play time on this game so far. Yesterday I finally got all the weapons, completed Adventure Mode, got all the Skulltula's and unlocked Link's Goron Tunic costume and today I unsealed the "Evil's Bane" skill on Link's Master Sword, unlocked (but haven't acquired) all the rewards in Adventure Mode, got the maximum of 30 hearts for Link and also got him to level 99. Also acquired a crap ton of heart pieces and heart containers for all the characters playing co-op with my friend. It's so much faster in co-op, wow. We also played through some of story mode on Hero difficulty, so much fun.
I'm pretty much done with this game now, except for some heart pieces/containers in Adventure Mode.... at least until thursday when the first DLC comes out with 3 new characters and a whole new adventure map and so many unlockables and arghhh. I'll probably have like 350+ hours on this game by the time all the DLC comes out. So much content, so worth the money.
Costume Quest: found out about this game, thought it looked amazing. Double Fine games are always good. then saw the game was on sale on Steam for Halloween so I bought it! played it for about an hour today and i'm loving it so much.

Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds: Restarted after a long hiatus, only three more dungeons left (I think, anyway.) Still have some collectibles to find.
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: Massive fan of the first game, I recently got the Trilogy. Having just as much fun with it as the first one, I expect the third to be no different.
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle: On hiatus, will go back and finsh after Metroid Prime 2.
Dark Souls: Spent two hours dying to the first boss that I'm not even supposed to kill. Looked up a tip, then spent another hour (During which I realized I was supposed to run) figuring out its patterns before finally killing it. Burned out from that, I took a short break.
Fallout 3: Completed the story, now doing a second run with a slightly more optimized skill build and actually doing everything this time.
And that's just a few. My backlog is sentient.
Pokemon Y: only got it last week, not exactly blasting through it. Then again with also having beaten X, I can't really be spoiled about the game.
Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley: Picked up earlier this week. Not exactly the same game, but it is a little rough around the edges for something that switched from a localization to a creation by another studio for the series. Unlocked April and Emily earlier and finally have spring back. Still need to figure out how I'm going to do a bit for changing my landscape to something a little more manageable.

5,400 of those are the "Timeworn" variety I need to find.
3 of those Timeworn Charms can have the specific skill boost and empty slots I need.
Not to mention all the other junk I can mine up while trying to find this thing. :f7:
At least I won't run out of money anytime soon if I keep selling the junk charms and weapons I keep getting instead.

Tales of Xillia 2: Started and finished the NG+ Unknown run with sisters. Working on finishing up post-game content before trying to get Platinum.
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker: Disappointed the game only has 3 episodes and some bonus levels. Finished challenge times on Episodes 1 and 2 and started working on them in Episode 3.
Picked up Etrian Odyssey I-III for the DS, ever since I finished IV and Untold I've just wanted to play the whole series. EO I is proving to be very problematic in terms of difficulty spikes between the Stratum.
^I'm too scared to go play the DS Etrian Odysseys ;.; I finished Untold and IV's main game (attempting IV's post-game) and it's all super scary. I can't imagine what it would have been like before... I'm waiting for Untold 2 and hopefully a 3 because I'm lame :U

I got Hyrule Warriors for Christmas and I cannot put it down. I've been playing that so much lately... I spend entire days playing it and I never get tired of it (though I do get annoyed but that's like any game)

I'm more or less mostly focused on the first two, since I wanna really learn the innermost workings of Smash and MK8 still. Anything else is just for killing time when I feel like it. :v
Taking a break from Etrian Odyssey II, picked up Etrian Odyssey IV while it's still on sale on the eShop so I've been alternating between it and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. Forgot how fun EOIV was in terms of "wow you really can do any party setup and it works".

Xenoblade Chronicles: Finished the game sometime last month. Clocked in at 80 hours.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse: 100% the game in a couple days with sisters a couple weeks ago. Multiplayer does make a lot of things trivial, but Kirby games have never been known for their difficulty.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD: Finally beat the game tonight on normal (Officer) difficulty. Will probably have a go at NG+ on Agito (Hard) or Finis (Very Hard) difficulty to unlock more content.
Didn't have much to do today, started up Minecraft again. I ended up making something functional with my limited knowledge of redstone.
I made a snowball-powered repeater/pulse generator where the user can control how many pulses are sent out, with a maximum of 143 pulses if you only use snowballs, 577 with regular 64-stacking items--I figured I'd limit it to snowballs for thematic purposes. Kinda proud of it since I spent like 4 hours re-learning redstone and building a messy prototype. I'm sure I can clean it up a bit more later.

I called it a repeater, but it's really an engine. Outputs are modifiable so that it can power as many things as you want. Later I'm gonna try to make it so that it uses both side inputs of the comparator, and after that, so that it can take an infinite number of inputs. The end project I really want to make is some sort of automatic builder that creates a building based on a 3D schematic.

Tales of Graces F: One Sister and I are replaying the game since we beat it back in 2012 and don't remember jack about the game, and want to try and beat it before Zestiria releases in a few months. Doing full "Evil" mode playthrough this time around.
Disgaea D2: Never touched the game until this past weekend. Going to attempt to platinum the game before Disgaea 5 releases in a few months. Currently sitting at Chapter 7, Cycle 3.
Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold.
Expert mode is hard. Worse than the first Untold on Expert. It's basically "your party better have some serious sustain or you're done for".

Speaking of Disgaea 5. I got mine today as well. Been kinda steamrolling the story, even with 20 stars in cheat shop, due to going nuts with the demo and getting everyone to level 150+ (and Tier 4 generics) due to Killia being 200 himself.
It's really cool they brought back a lot of stuff from D3 in addition to the QOL stuff from D4 and DD2.
In addition to my last post. I was able to platinum DD2 with a couple weeks to spare before D5 released. Rasetsu mode can go die in a fire. Thank god Baal wasn't required.
I actually think I did something wrong, I went and bought/applied the DLC before beating chapter 1, now I'm completely lost. Am assuming I need to run through all the DLCs to go back to the story?Quote:

No. The DLC shouldn't have any affect on the story. It's just bunched up with the main story selection, which can cause some confusion. I applied all the DLC before I finished episode 1, but I ended up plowing through all of the DLC before even continuing with the story.Quote:
