So spadow said that the lvl 140 equips comes from cygnus empress, so most of the talk in here would be moot because getting one of those would be close to imposible O.o (Unless You raise like mad your charisma and will XD)
ill stick with 130 equips. No way we can beat cygnus.
The only way to get them is by killing Cygnus? So much for switching off of being dexless.
I can honestly see the boss being nerfed a lot in the future, or we just get another way to supercharge our survivability and damage. It's like when Pink Bean seemed impossible, then potential came out and it's like, ''Next?''
Or it's possible that this boss was built with another legend class in mind. Remember that just after PB came out so did Aran with all sorts of survivability built into it like blocking up to 30% damage.
The next legend better havea skill that can reduce all monsters and bosses HP by 30% with a coldown of 1 hour :f3:
Although I bet before we see all of the next legends come out we are gonna see a Cygnus 4th job. All the story about this dark future for Ereve and the maple world opens room for an argument of strengthening the Cygnus army in the present. That and all cygnus enemies being lvl 17x+ :f3:

Things that would have to come out to beat the cygnus queen:
Set effect that nullify statuses
Set effect that heals your character by a % every X seconds
% damage on equips as base stats, and stack with potential. Can be chaosed.
New class with skills that can negate zombify/seduce.
Totally new systems that make us stronger in some way.
You have to duck to heal yourself, iirc. What i mentioned happens automatically.
Also, skill casted by a specific class =/= set effect. The latter is far better for the success of the boss group, especially if the set gives awesome stats aside.
It doesn't have to be specifically those statuses. Just statuses in general. Maybe a shelter-esque thing where if you're within this area no statuses affect you.
Giving bishops that skill would be kind of stupid though. They would have to give all adventurers a new skill. Again.
It's still short-sighted on Nexon's part if that's the case.
Even after Arans were released, it took months (and the aforementioned release of Potentials) for anyone to beat it.
Unless the new Legend has some fantastic party buffs, it won't allow us to beat Cygnus.
Battlemages were a step in the right direction (Blue Aura being a great step in survivability), but it's not complete.
Then again, I doubt anyone in KMS has taken full advantage of the survivability skills that we already have.
Hyper Body + Blue Aura + Party Shield + Healing Robot H-LX + Combo Barrier + Magic Resistance + Soul Stone + Threaten + Smokescreen + Holy Shield + Heal is a lot of often untapped potential.
I mean, that video of the run posted above had three members? Yeah, no chance.
Like... Dispel? I know you'd rather it be a set effect, but I'd much rather see every class have some unique use.
I think giving skills through Potential was a step in the wrong direction.
A chance to ignore status effects would be fine though.
Every class already has a skill to negate Seduce. It's called Hero's Will.
Not really. They could just throw it into the most obvious place: Holy Shield.
As it is now (unless Big Bang changed it), it's pretty much useless since it doesn't really do anything Dispel doesn't.
Give it the ability to block Zombify (or even Seduce) and you instantly increase your party's survivability as well as give boss runs a reason to invite Bishops.
