Finished The Last Story
Not quite as good as Xenoblade, the first ...15 or so chapters aren't that great, the next few are ok, then the second half of the game kicks off and the plot moves much more quickly. Little bit too much of a corridor simulator at times, but it's passable since the game is only about 20-25 hours long.

There's a lot of games missing from my need-to-get list. I've been borrowing a lot of games instead of buying recently. Have a big line-up for the holiday season and I'm trying a budget over-flow approach instead of touching my savings. Probably still won't get everything I want.

Currently EV-grinding my sandile and drilbur while trying to evolve the former. Still wondering if I should grind a really tanky Gigalith so I can laugh at Elesa's Emolga as they try to take it down....

EDIT: OHKO'd all of Elesa's Pokemon with my Lv29 Drilbur (swapped out Rock Tomb for the more powerful and accurate Rock Slide) and Lv29 Dig + Soft Sand Krokorok. That was...anti-climactic.

Put the HD collection back in because I never beat it (played like 20 minutes of each game total). I've beat ICO before because it's like a 3 hour game and I've never beat SotC because the controls really bug me. Real human beings do not flail around when the run.
Also the protagonist of SotC looks like Matthew Grey Gubler and I couldn't stop thinking that as I played it just now.

In total response to the big TWEWY-related announcement coming soon, I am going to beast mode the entire game on Ultimate Level 1. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING.
To be fair, by the time you've unlocked the ability to replay all the days, if you've been stat grinding properly, it's not that hard to do the entire game on ultimate level 1, barring some of the last bosses. Especially the secret boss. Ugh.Quote:

It's a noise called Panthera Cantus. It is at the top floor of Pork City, on "Another Day". It should be noise number 96 on your list.
It's ridiculously strong if you're trying to fight it on Ultimate.
Been playing my beautiful Collector's Edition of Darksiders 2. Nearly finished with the game, although I probably won't jump towards getting the Platinum for awhile, I have too many other things to focus on.
Aside from that, I've been picking The Secret World back up with a free trial, to help me decide whether or not to purchase it--I have a feeling it'll go F2P in the coming months, so I dunno yet. I will also be picking up the PC port of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition when it comes out, as long as they fixed the biggest flaw with the original game (horrible matchmaking, making it a pain in the ass to invade or to try to co-op with someone).
I'm completely dreading the coming of October, because it'll be game overload. I want like 6 new titles coming out that month, so I have no idea what I'll do, especially since I'll probably still be playing Borderlands 2 around that time.
Just figure I'd let @Sarah know I'm playing Final Fantasy XII since I haven't posted much on Southperry recently.
Just recently bought Darksiders 2 yesterday....I heard that it was good, and it looked kinda fun. And so far I haven't been able to put it down! It's incredibly awesome.

Just started MGS:Peace Walker HD a couple days ago. Started off slow for me but it's growing.
I've been kinda bleh on playing any games lately, hoping to turn that around.
The Walking Dead episode 3: Hooollllly crap what an awesome episode. Pretty heart wrenching, wasn't really expecting things to happen the way they did. I'm starting to get the feeling that Lee (the main character) will die at the end of the 4th episode or maybe during the final episode and you will start playing as Clementine considering that she's started being taught survival skills.

I mostly like twitchy action games and puzzle games. I'm a sucker for good story/writing/atmosphere, and I'll play an RPG if it has that (I liked The Witcher even though the game was pretty mediocre overall). Not a huge fan of FPS since I tend to get motion sickness after a while. I don't own any consoles, and I don't want to hunt down DS carts, so PC only.
If you haven't played L.A. Noire and can get into the sandbox style of game then I definitely suggest it. It's less like Grand Theft Auto than it seems and it's got a really solid story and interesting investigation-based gameplay. @Dusk
I don't play on the PC so that's really all I can recommend.
I'm iffy with sandbox games. I played Fallout: NV because everyone was praising it for being the coolest game ever but I ended up getting bored and quitting about 10 hours in. It was too complex and there was too little direction. I wasn't sure where the main story was and I didn't enjoy just wandering around killing random scorpions and bandits and pomegranate. If it's got a main idea with a bunch of stuff to do on the side, I'm okay with it, but too much freedom and I lose interest.

EDIT: Watching a random LP just to see the LPer's reaction. And it's hilarious. On top of that, he very nearly escaped a seemingly inescapable room, but gave up and loaded a previous save. Too bad for him; that's locked him out of the true ending (and with that, access to the next chapter).
EDIT2: DAMMIT. I wanted to see his reaction to a really pineappleed up scare...but he chickened out of triggering it...

Finished up the Ratchet HD collection. Borrowed Borderlands from my cousin. Getting terrible headaches from the FPS but I enjoy the actual game so I power through it. Decided to go back and beat Uncharted 3 and am going to finish up Mass Effect 3 now because there's no reason for these to go unfinished.
Well, right now i'm playing Mists of Pandaria and stuff. It's hard to alternate between maple and WoW when both released awesome content on the same day D:

*Restarted last night to re-familiarize myself w/the game. Sister played White, I played Black. We usually have these races against each other. Usually I end up being slower. We did this on multiple occasions. The hardest being replaying Kingdom Hearts BBS,1,Re;CoM,358/2,2,Re:Coded whiten two months before Dream Drop Distance's Release. Fun stuff.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies - Finally maxed out my Axe skill so I can equip Axes regardless of what job I am. Made my Full Moon Axe which took long because hunting Bag of Laughs for Cow Pat was annoying. X_X

Got into God Eater Burst again, it's starting to shape up after I poured like 15 hours in it. If I get to rank 6-7 before I hit 40 hours I'll call it an accomplishment :)
Is anyone else playing Far Cry 3? I'm about halfway into it and it's been a blast so far. It's an open world RPG, similar to games like Assassin's Creed and Red Dead Redemption.
In the past month I've gotten to 98% or so on both LEGO Batman 2: DC Heroes and Saints Row: The Third. Need to go finish those up after finals.
Been playing a ton of vidya lately so here goes:
Winding down the village quests in MHFU. Trying to clear it before March so I can be fresh for Ultimate. Currently grinding Nargacuga for it's greatsword.
Picked up a new copy of Spirit Tracks since my old one went -boom-. Doing a bunch of optional junk before I head down to the 5th temple.
Got Digital Devil Saga 1 a few weeks after Spirit Tracks and RE4, and set up my old CRT TV to make it look extra pretty. On the 3rd(?) dungeon. Planning on playing it twice and going for the optional boss.
Slowly going through RE4 since A). I'm terrible at it, and B). Its my first 'horror' game ever, so I'm still kinda spooked at stuff most of you saw years ago. Just got the midget's castle.
Hopefully, I should clear all these and then get on my backlog in the next few months. God willing, I'll have a job and a WiiU with that job-money in a few months as well.
