Yes, it is 10 for us, I meant 15 for DnF. And yeah it's possible. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyaR_8xcqt4
You can also relaunch if you pop an opponent up with 8+ light chaser and time it correctly.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Zephyr - 2009-12-02

@sonyx: dragon stab is 5, not 10, and that girl in that video has some weird ass build..., but clumsy i should say, unless the boss is really hard to avoid (didn't seem to)

well, my build was pve oriented mostly, thats why fire chaser, besides i don't see how shadow or water chaser could help in pvp really =/

and @ that chaser video.... i always pull that thing in pve, its fun... i should practice it on pve, and i didn't know you could turn of chasers :o

So uhm, i got a better builder (not allowed to give it, sorry xd) but this is my build i want to work on:

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - xSonyx - 2009-12-02

Ah, thought you had 10 in the arad planner. Anyways, pve builds should place top priority on chasers so I would recommend water chaser too since you'll use fang frequently in pve. The def buff is also pretty nice Confused. A note on repopping people in the air, it's a lot easier in pve to pull that off except I don't even think it works in pve o.o. Since as long as the mob is off the ground, you can relaunch to full height with upper. For pvp, there is a very small timeframe after you launch the chaser for this to happen, a lot more leg room in pve. And honestly, if you're playing dnf you shouldn't even worry about this, you can't do it anyways since they changed the weight/hit recovery in pvp :/. Oh, I forgot, level 1 shururu is nearly useless lol. It only attracts normal mobs and gets immediately one shot in like sky tower-behemoth + <_<. So I wouldn't recommend it but yeah, only 25 points, not really anywhere else to put them since you don't want higher shift.

On a different note...anyone have any luck with cracking pots? Recently became inspired and addicted to these after my friend probably pulled one of the luckiest pulls yet in dfo considering the little (in comparison) amount of pots he used. Farmed about 15mil from chamber (I love you dragonscale Confused) and spent about 8mil in 25-30 accessory pots. Pulled a legacy ring, bamboo and a handful of +10s. So scared everytime I go on these runs, I'm happy just to break even most of the time D:.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Zephyr - 2009-12-02

I see no benefit on having water chaser... really... it just takes the spot of another chaser that might be more useful compared to water (def + slow enemies? no thanks)

I rather have an attack buff, and i bet the slow on pvp is negligible...

And about reppoping stuff back to the air, "some" enemies might be lifted again at full height from the ground, but not every enemy, at least humanoids.

Also, about weight/hit recovery... i get peach slapped across the room against my brother's witch... both with cloth and heavy armor... yeah i might fall faster, but he can skill lift me again with his broom and continue owning me... i might need more movement speed though...

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - xSonyx - 2009-12-02

How exactly does he continually air juggle you? Does he do the normal four hit combo, and then slightly pop you back in the air with upper to continue it? (Don't think you can do that...not entirely sure <_<) Or does he continually loop you with a ground loop? Haven't actually seen a dnf witch that can loop air juggles, most I've seen is the regular 4 hit max + swatter finish. Then again, I haven't really been looking for them in the first place >_<.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Zephyr - 2009-12-02

He just peach slaps me, just like that.... either on the ground or air, if he juggles me on the air, for some stupid reason falls before me, when the weight kicks in and i fall, he pops mantle and starts the juggle again... i'm freaking sure there's something messed up there...

This is without swatter, with dusts on...

Also, phase shift stupid delay doesn't help at all... 1 use and i'm done if he catches me again...

Well this was back level 18... i should try now that i have a grab that breaks super armor (mantle) and light chaser...

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - xSonyx - 2009-12-02

Quick rebound should fix that, just make sure to instantly escape with palm/upper. If you're caught without it...then yeah. Remember that the hax cape (thank god it doesn't have invincibility anymore <_<) has a huge aoe and can even grab your weapon (wtp DSmile.

Oh, in that case don't worry at all. Honestly BMs are trash before 25 <_<. No grab, hardest chaser to create, basically...a pre-sub mage with..a better normal combo lol?

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - mrcowcow - 2009-12-02

Wow. For some reason, when I do a rush through Chamber Expert, versus a Chamber King's rush with a party, I get more exp in Expert, and make more money. :|

And DANG those Red Sunglasses hat avatars are rare as heck. B> Black Autumn Gunner top and bottom? >.>

Well... he grabbed me while i was behind him... thats just bullcrap...

and for some stupid reason (yeah there's too many stupid reasons for me... but pomegranate doesn't make sense) even if i do a kick rebound he can just look back and slap my ass again with his broom...

No super armor with uncharged palm suck :<

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - xSonyx - 2009-12-02

SA shouldn't matter, manteau would just override it then. Not sure what to tell you then...I don't really encounter these problems in dfo.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Zephyr - 2009-12-02

I guess ill have to pull a quick stab wheel again mantle... that thing chews through super armor fast...

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - xSonyx - 2009-12-03

Dusk Wrote:Everything I've heard about the Witch patch has been positive other than the Manteau thing. Buffs to the fire spells, casting speed on leather armor mastery, flyswatter buff, and I forget what else. I agree with Library being useless anyway.

Yeah, kinda looking forward to this patch and kind of not for my future witchy :<.
From the nexon forums (lol.) and the things I know that are changed are correct so...I suppose this is creditable <_<.

This is the Mage patch S2 Act 3 we're getting after the priest patch. I have no credit on this, I'm just translating it into English.

It gives you free Back Step, Cancel Back Step, Quick Rebound, Cancel Uppercut.

Elementalist: free Pluto 1

Summoner: free Summon Panzer Hodor 1

Battle Mage: free Cancel Uppercut, Phase Shift 1, Mana Shield 1

Witch: free Magic Missile 1

Enhanced Magic Missile - no longer do only one hit when it fails, it will do 4 hits when it fails. No more '''Orz icon on the florae. Success will jump 7 times, Sleeper Success will jump 10 times and 100% electrocution. BIG NERF.

Ancient Library - Reduce MP recovery at Lv5 (271) Lv6(327), increase skill level you can learn 5->10. Will get a buff for 60 seconds increasing int by lv5(39)lv6(47). If you use Ancient Library on your teammate, both of you will get a 60 seconds buff

Broomstick Spin - Damage is buffed. Shockwave will knock everyone down. Fail will cause confuse and recover HPMP depending the skill level.

Florae Collider - Invincibility is taken out. While casting, 20% damage done onto the Collider will be transferred on you. Casting speed will be affected.

Death Dust - Magical damage is buffed.

Black Manteau - Invincibility is taken out. Increased blind rate.

Flyswatter - Increased curse rate. Curse will decrease str, stam, int, spirit. Summon is buffed. (it didn't mention the swatter's skill level, but the success summon is a lv36 goblin archer with aggressive personality.

Gravitas - No change in damage. Casting speed is affected.

Snow Dust - Magical damage is buffed.

Acid Rain - Damage is buffed by a lot. No longer need clear fragment to cast it. Casting speed is affected.

Mega Drill - No change in damage. Invincibility is taken out. While casting, 20% damage done onto the Mega Drill will be transferred on you. Casting speed will be affected.

Lava Potion - Damage is buffed by a lot. No longer need clear fragment to cast it. Casting speed is affected.

Furnace - No information, the author didn't mention it.

Leather Mastery - Increase attack speed, casting speed, magic critical rate, intelligence, MP recovery.

Top Atk - Spd 2.4%, Casting Spd 9%, Magic Crit 1.5%, int 32.4, MP recovery 30%
Bottom - Atk Spd 2%, Casting Spd 7.5%, Magic Crit 1.25%,int 27, MP recovery 25%
Shoulder - Atk Spd 1.6%, Casting Spd 6%, Magic Crit 1%, int 20.1, MP recovery 20%
Shoes - Atk Spd 1.2%, Casting Spd 4.5%, Magic Crit 0.75%, int 15.08, MP recovery 15%
Belt - Atk Spd 0.8%, Casting Spd 3%, Magic Crit 0.5%, int10.05, MP recovery 10%

Total Bonus - Atk Spd 8%, Casting Spd 30%, Magic Crit 5%, int 104.63, MP recovery 100%

IMO, the biggest nerfs were somewhat necessary. Yes, most grabs do give invincibility frames and some have huge aoes too (effing spiral T_T) but they actually need to GRAB something lol. And more invincibility frames taken out of florae collider and ice car which in a pvp standpoint is just broken <_<.

But yeah...is it just me, or is it REALLY hard to pick between witch elements? Honestly, the only skills I don't like are like....florae....furnace and....that's pretty much it <_<. Fire gives amazing zoning and aoe, dark is the win for pvp and EMM is just sexy to merit an entire friendly max to it @_@. I mean, I do want ice car too but I'm still not sure about giving up fire for it..., I like nothing else in the ice line and the frames are taken out for it later :/.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Zephyr - 2009-12-03

Not sure about quick rebound there sony, my brother didn't get it for free with his witch (act 3 dnf post witch patch)

Also, i don't see how you have to give up fire for it:

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - xSonyx - 2009-12-03

Eh...no disenchant, low shururu and jackyl (I want them to be pretty big Tongue) no gravitas, level 1 swatter..? At level 60, a normal attack would do way more damage than a level 1 swatter lol. Guess he's just using it as a GET OFF MEH attack And I was planning to max out my dark befriend Confused. (These are just my preferences of course, not knocking on your brother's build)

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Zephyr - 2009-12-03

Well you didn't say if it was for pvp or pve D:

And don't worry, that isn't my brother's build, because i don't know if he wants pvp or pve either >_>;

Wow that's gotta be timed well cause I still haven't been able to do it. The most I've gotten is like body high launch. Maybe putting backstep on a hotkey would be easier. Would the chaser I use with launch matter in this case or does it have to be neutral?

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Dusk - 2009-12-03

Those changes sound awesome.

I dropped Fire. The only thing that sucks about not having Fire is that Jackyl fails all the time. Lava Potion is quite decent even when it fails.

About the witch juggling, the way to keep people in the air is to dash attack attack land and repeat. Weight usually kicks in around 4 hits when dusted and I can get an extra hit or two plus a flyswatter or a palm->manteau. Infinite juggling does not seem possible.

Today: Sold my White Autumn Pants (Priest) for 1m, then bought an avatar token and went for another bottom ava.

Guess what I got.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Deific - 2009-12-03

Why can't I ever get past +5 on my Iron Dragon Arm? I swear I've failed the sixth upgrade like 8 times now. Tongue

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - IllegallySane - 2009-12-03

I'm somewhat losing my mind on the dead levels of 2x. I'm just ~95% away from getting Star in the Sky and some level 25 gear upgrades that I found, and I've been doing nothing but Drake's Nest whenever I log on because Vestibule of Darkness drained my potions dry. ~5% a run feels blah when I still Maple and have other games to occupy my free time that feels more productive than potion farming.

Currently I have about 60-70 HP potions and about 50-60 MP potions, and since I leveled to 24 King's Run at Drake's Nest now yield me ~16-18k EXP per run instead of 20-25k. Bah. At least I learned enough about my Exorcist that I can solo it without using more than 1-3 potions per run that I pick up. Lurking Dragon is seriously a godsend in soloing the boss relatively quickly.

-Charge Giant Weapon Launcher, hit, back off, use Phoenix Hammer when trapped in the cage, repeat until dead.

WTB an alternative source of potion farming other than non-stop Drake's Nest. My only saving grace is getting one more Zircon for one of the quests and the fact I can't stand the idea of buying potions from other people or even from game NPCs; way too expensive.

Yes I know I'm taking my sweet time playing DFO. I see it more as a game to play out of sheer boredom rather than having priority like Maple.
