Yes, you have to do it to have a quest item allow you to enter boss map.
If before Unleashed you already had that item, I think it'll be okay to enter without doing new quests :D

It's worse than soloing with a non-leeching HS I'll grant you. Since they changed that situation to a constant 50% it's damn hard to beat in a party.
Ah, thank you. My arithmetic skills suck.

I finished all the quests before I got the 3 "kill krexel" ones. One requiring the key, two for killing him. The key is what gets you the money. One of the other two gives you the level 160 shoulder equip, the other 30 random pots.
Re: Feedback Unleashed: Part I - Numbers big and small
3 person party:
attacker gets 119,526 (46.8%) base exp + 65,739 (25.7%) party bonus (55% of what they got as base) = ~72.5%
leeches get 68,057 (26.6%) base exp + 37,432 (14.64%) party bonus = ~41.3% each
so, in a party of 3, killing at the same rate, you'd be getting about 155%

Re: Feedback Unleashed: Part I - Numbers big and small
Oh wow, so you guys also get the KMS buffed bosses and dojo now? I thought GMS would get a better version of "unlimited" after the patch being delayed for so long. I used to clear dojo in 16-17 min in the old version. Can't clear the new one anymore. You know, the dojo list of 50 players is never full anymore ever since unlimited patch hit us (it used to be always full). It is filled with 30 players at most and I'm talking about the most populated world here in msea. That shows how stupid the buff is. It's either people become too lazy to even complete it or whatever reason I don't know. lol.
As for the cost of appraising items, no one here actually complained about it when this came out. Haha. I guess that's because the fee is kinda similar with our stupidly expensive magnifying glasses (example: 400k meso per premium glass). The only complaint I have is that the appraising doesn't give insight exp anymore.....and my stockpile of super cheap magnifying glasses (Asiasoft forgot to change the price to our ridiculous price after certain patch. It was at GMS price, so I stocked a lot of them) is running low now :(

I'm guessing you play at Aquila? And the dojo bosses were meant to be buffed, people were clearing it too easily.

A few very funded people could clear it in 8 minutes or less, but the vast majority of people (myself included) could scrape by on nearly 20 minutes. Wasn't enough to get in the top 10, but it was enough to get the gloves.
Those incredibly funded people STILL have the advantage over everyone else, the difference now is that they are the only ones who can even CLEAR dojo. It doesn't affect them at all and only affects those who could scrape by before, now we can't do it at all.
It's completely unfair and makes things even less balanced than they were before. higher funded players are still just as strong, but the low funded got hit hard.

8 people can clear it on my server, apparently. Maybe 15 TOPS.
There's more people getting 1-10 gloves than people getting 11-50. That is not right, and you know it. I know you spent a lot of money on this game judging by your post, but the gloves are meant to help people that don't have it that easy. Take that out, and it will only give players funded to the limit the chance to get the gloves. And ironically, those people will have better golves than those, making them useless. Yeah, smart move, suuuuuure.
Re: Feedback Unleashed: Part I - Numbers big and small
Alright, alright, I get @Alloy; and @Razmos;'s point. Dojo changes don't really concern me tbh, since I only head to the dojo for coins.
But what I really don't like is the additional options. From what I heard, GMS didn't get those. Yay or nay?

What? 20 min still allowed you to get glove? Here in my world, unless you could clear it in less than 12min, you wouldn't be able to get even the 50th glove. My timing could only get the glove ONCE....by luck....just on the day dojo ranking got their weekly reset :f3:
I actually don't really get the point of this dojo anymore. Like what....those super funded players already have full cygnus set. What is this dojo glove for? I guess they wouldn't want to break the set bonus, right? Unless they use cygnus set + shoulderpad minus the glove, so they use this dojo glove?
@soroxas:
Yes aquila. They can buff it, sure, but not to this extent. If the 50 rank list is NOT even full at all ever since we get unlimited patch until now, what does that show?
Additional option is okay. Additional POTENTIAL is NOT. It only makes the gap between funded and unfunded EVEN bigger.

haha yeah, Khaini was usually pretty quiet in regards to people doing Dojo. around 20 minutes would usually get me to about rank 43-50

Haha what. Additional potential largely only affects those who hunt and sell drops (unfunded), not those who only try to get lucky on reveals (funded) or attempt to cube only to find out it's the worst use of money in this game.

I believe why she said that is because of this "top" player that spends a ridiculous amount of money in the game, aka really funded. :f7:
OT: So as I was asking, did you guys get additional options in Unleashed?
Oh, and on the topic of additional potential, are the scrolls sold in NX or in mesos?

They did not get additional options, and the activities of one person that has too much money to spend does not in fact justify the absolute idiocy that is cubing additional potential.

They're sold in NX. They're bought in meso.

But since i'm willing to give anything a shot.
I pretty much came back for Unleashed and first thing is that it kinda bugs me that i cannot dojo without a massive upgrade.. Isn't even like that was the kind of place that you could go in as a party.. Since the whole "purpose" of this patch was to make bossing more party orientated..
As for the other things, I love having GPQ back (sadly my guild is dead but i went on a run with my friends guild for nostalgia's sake) this is definitely a +1, as for other changes i'm totally for the changes at singapore ESPECIALLY DAT BADGE.. :f3:
Lets see, twisted aqua and twilight perion I know gms didn't create these maps but geez boring as pineapple. I know they are set up for 200+ training but come on at least make the quests somewhat interesting..
I could go on all day but i'm going to cut this short.. LASTLY BUGS. tons, as this is expected from a large patch I wasn't surprised but this still doesn't make it anymore acceptable.
Conclusion? there are a lot of pros and cons of this patch but imo the cons far outweigh the pros and i apologize if I seem negative I always try to find a silver lining in things but this isn't the most easy patch to do so.
Kinda short, but I do see your points.
My turn.
I was anticipating this patch for quite a while, as I will be maining Demon Avenger when it is released, so, to my disdain, I checked the patch notes, and saw a very disheartening few things:
1. The Chimney was nerfed. As I only use the chimney until 30, this wasn't for me, but for the priests who can no longer use their elemental advantage to level. However, I thought, if the nerfs were done in moderation, it would be fine.
2. Aliens were nerfed. Now, I originally thought this a good thing, if done in moderation with an addition of substitute spots, but the next thing made me rethink this.
3. Malasia was revamped. Unlike with the previous 2, I immediately saw the downside: no more MP3 as an Aliens substitute. Priests lose an amazing training spot, and, overall, training just gets harder.
Then I got online, went to Jesters with my Mercedes, and killed one. 300 EXP.
Just like always, Nexon doesn't know the meaning of the word moderation- whether it be in regards to nerfs or actual game moderation.
I'll admit here that some things needed nerfed. However, here is what I would have done:
Rotting Skeletons - unchanged. Kinda personal, I suppose, but I never actually found them gamebreaking. Now they are kinda worthless as Golems and Gravi Stonegars exist.
Scarecrows - nerfed from 220/kill to 180/kill. Once again, as I don't regularly use the chimney past Skeles, I never found Scarecrows too gamebreaking, but I can understand a moderate EXP nerf.
Jesters - nerfed from 13XX/kill to 900/kill. I know this is a bit severe, but I also wanted to balance things out. 300 a kill is too far.
Aliens - nerfed from 3000/kill (lv95) to 1850/kill (lv95). Again, more moderation. I do actually USE aliens, so I can personally vouch for how broken they are at 3000 exp. However, lowering the exp AND buffing their level is NOT the way to nerf things in good moderation.
Lionheart Castle - exp lowered, party play kept. I understand that some of you WANT to go through absolute hell to get to 200, but nostalgia is not a feeling to pander to, as when you pander to nostalgia, you're essentially just taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back.
New! Some Undead Place For Priests from 80-110 - seriously. We need a place for priests to level. Without a place like that, you can basically stick a fork in any newbie Priests.
-TO BE CONTINUED AFTER I GET OFF WORK-
