He was going by the old thread about the magazine article thread wherein the original poster made the mistake of predicting that January was going to be CWK2, when the article only said Quarter 1 of 2009.
That prediction got misinterpreted as part of the article and flooded the maple community, leading to imminent disappointment.

Actaully i did write 1st quarter of 2009, i didnt mention January anywhere about CWK 2 ...and i didnt put my predictions in the thread. Btw for the people that dont know: 1st quarter does not have to equal January
Edit:but CWK 2 is coming out during the first quarter of this year.. (Just to clarify)

Well, its actually not a prediction, becasue it was a nexon interview. (Massive Online Gamer)

It was from an interview between someone from Massive Online Gamer and Nexon. It was true as of the writing of the article, but Nexon could have slipped it back a few weeks.
Now, I expect CWK II either in mid-March (since only pomegranate comes from February) or mid-Summer. (since that's when major Masteria updates seem to happen.)

i'm thinking that we'll get our 2nd patch of 2009 earlier than the standard 1 monthish from last patch which bump it up 2 weeks and your before the 14th though i may be wrong but i think nexon understands that the 14th is valentines day and hence the events for it should begin on or before it...

(Februrary is usually valentines patch)
(March goes back to whatever new comes out+maybe easter)

This reminds me of last year at this time: ZOMG4thjobisJanuary15th...That was never said; What WAS said was some time in January, which is when we got it (January 22ndish I think).
As some of the above have mentioned, nexon never said January but rather the first quarter of the year, meaning it COULD'VE been this month, but would be more likely to be in February or March. Looking at Nexon's track record of delaying things/releasing it at the last possible moment, I would take a guess that it'll be March but lets hope Im wrong and we see it next month (lolreadingbreak)

We have another pomegranate month. November. Wasn't all that pomegranty this year, that should make it less than 100% chance of a crappy February patch.

January 15th was just when the Level to 120 event they had ended and everyone jumped to conclusions. ^_^

I am rather sad too that this didn't come out yet. I mean really cwk part 1 was not that huge of a patch. This cwk pt 2 is the big patch I'm looking forward to in the next few months.

We'll the way Prose talked, we're fairly certain theres a boss, theres a chance itll be another maze, there will be good solo maps, and juding by the fact that theres Crimson Guardians on the outside, and their level, im guessing the monsters inside will all be around that level or higher, since it wouldnt make much sense to put low level monsters in the keep when its guarded by high level monsters.
Even without real info, the inside of the keep seems like it'll be something worthwhile. But we'll have to see.
