The Guild system will be getting an overhaul in the May update. As a result, the Family system will be removed to avoid overlapping effects. The removal includes the Family Tree, Rep, and Contribution. Here are some of the features of the Family system that will be included in the Guild update:

Obtain Contribution Points from various activities to get Guild Points which can be used to acquire Guild skills

Addition of a Guild skill that allows you to teleport to a Guild members location

Addition of a Guild skill that allows you to summon a Guild member to your location

There's so many ways to get around maple , I hardly even use the family system.

Well I have a main character in the same guild with a Hyper rock(perm) so... if I am indeed desperate then yeah... (Teleport to location, summon BT, BT summons you)

But I can see it work if you have a couple of beast tamers for popular maps such as HoH and (I haven't tested it before but) Gollux's lobby, then you can summon 5 people once every few minutes.
