I believe this is what Raul mentioned earlier, but I came upon this utter mess of an idea for a new update.
[spoiler="Illiterate" New Era update]Hi all ^^ i made new update for maplestory ^^
named as,
NEW ERA!
well, in this update,
-exp/drop rate lose per level gone(that thing coems at jump update to lose exp/drop)
-dmg cap incresed to 5m
To every new account, you will get 30k maple points when you make account.
and every char gets reg face and hair coupons at start.
-5 new quests introduced, all are 1 time only;
defeat papulatus:gives half level, 5m.
defeat zakum: gives 1 level, 10m.
defeat horntail: gives 1 level, 20m.
defeat czak: gives 1 level, 20m.
defeat cht:gives 1 level 40m.
defeat pnik bean:gives 2 levels, 100m.
-max potential lines incrsed to 4.(if item is unquie, it could be max 9% 9% 6% 6%)
-New potential lines are introduced;
Royal(after Legendrary)
Invýncible(after Royal)
Items level teirs changed; 0-29 1st tier, 30-69 2nd tier, 70-119 3rd tier, 120-199 4th tier, 200 5th tier.[atm we just got tiers up to 3rd tier(that can be 9% 6% 6% max percents)]*
New Cash items introduced:
Tier upgrade(20k nx):
makes your equipment higher level tier with 70% chance.(eq. if you use it on bwg(10 level, 1st tier) and success it will be 2nd tier(30+ level).)
Royal cube(3k nx):
Has a chance to make your Legendrary item to Royal item.
Invinvilbe cube(5k nx):
Has a chance to make your Royal item to Legendrary item.Also has a chance to get 4 lined item!
Hyper shielding ward(80k nx):
Wards up to 12 enchancement once.
Master mastery book(4k nx):
Makes mastery books success rate 100%.
Ring slot(4k nx):
Increses ring slots.(max 6 slots.)
Special Novatic Equipment set:
(every armor is 20k nx, all comes unidentified)
Hat/top/bottom/belt/gloves/shoes/cape/glasses/face acc./pocket item/shield/pendat/rings/shoulder
EVery tiem got
+35 all stats
+15 att/matt
+300 def/mdef
+200 acc.
+200 hp/mp
10 slots.
Novatic weapons:
Every weapon type got
+200 att/matt
+200 hp/mp
12 slots.
Rings got extra stats:
1st- +2 sec invincible after getting hit.
2nd- +2% instant death.
3rd- -2 sec CD.
4th- +20% buff duration.
5th-+5% def/mdef ignore.
6th- +5% max/min crit.
Set effect()only when all equipments equipped(shields not counted):
+5 sp to all skills in 4th job(stacks with CO).
-3 sec CD.
+10% crit damage(max min)
+30% total damage.
+20% crit.
Thats all for now(theres also some skill revamps but later ^^)
*For tiers; theres a big example:
3rd tier unquie item will have max 9% stat 6% stat 6% stat.
if it gets 4 lines, 9% stat 9%stat 6% stat 6% stat
4th tier unquie gets 12% stat 12% stat 9% stat 9% stat..

If that seriously happened, then there would be the end of being poor. 650% exp and 190 mil for just fighting bosses?!

Even the 30k maple points. They give us 30k MP but that would pay just for 6 new cubes, so you'd run to buy NX for more...

Either way, you can tell that person isn't living in reality. After I read the top that listed those quests, I could tell it was pointless to continue. Although we shouldn't consider ourselves "better" than Basilers for just being Southperrians, you should be able to realize that Basil isn't always the best place to go for solid information or discussion.

For me the only thing that makes SP>BM is the forum itself, I know that most of the time is just the spam that buries the threads but the forum itself doesn't helps much.
