As a gay person that campaign actually disgusts me.
There are enough real issues and real inequities, who gives a flying gerbils ass if there aren't homos shown in a random scifi/fantasy movie? Unless they have a scene where gayness was "cured" explaining that's why there aren't any it's just irrelevant.
This protest isn't gay people being pissed off. It's pissed off people being pissed off and trying to drag gay into it.
