[COLOR="Purple"]They don't search your laptop's drive. They just put it through an x-ray to make sure you're not gonna use it to blow up the plane/airport. So yes, turn off your phone and take your laptop instead.

Sleeping is the best answer on an airplane. Also in flight movies. 3 hours is nothing BTW. Australia from North America took 36 hours. It was painful.
