Fonla's Slippers

These dropped from the Icy Mixed Golems, and what i'm wondering is:

1) Is this one of the NX-appearance items recently given stats and added into the game? (though i believe that those are tradeable, while these shoes are not)

2) Is it from a past event something? it seems like a special item since it's untradeable and has stats like the Slime Shoe.

3) Who is Fonla?

They used to be a shoe available from a quest in KFT (warning: video with bleh music). I don't recall there ever being an actual Fonla, though.

edit: hmm. I could have sworn I received them in GMS, but it may just be EMS. I don't know. :eek:

Ah i see, how weird. i wonder why Icy Mixed Golems are dropping them.. But then again, they are still dropping 7th anniversary stuff so their drop table is a little bit pineappleed.

Still a cool item for people who find them though, and you are right, that music was bleh.

They were a quest reward for the World Tour area Floating Market. (Which GMS never got) Strange to see them dropping form a mob.
