* Some restrictions apply to Hot Time. In order to participate, you must:

Be logged in to a character that is level 13 or above.
Have space in your inventory to receive the box.
Be logged in for the whole minute from 2:30 PM - 2:31 PM server time.
Be in the main map of a town or hunting map that is regularly accessible.
Make sure your character is alive.
Have space in your inventory to open the box and receive the rewards inside.


Moments before Hot Time and until Hot Time is past, please do not engage in any activity - simply relax!

Do not change channels.
Do not engage in any quests.
Do not enter the Cash Shop or MTS.
Do not talk to any NPCs or use Gachapon.
Do not use your inventory or storage.
Do not manage your wedding wish list.
Do not enter a mini-dungeon.
Do not use a ship or other timed method of transit between locations.


It is also strongly recommend that you spread out to prevent the chances of slowing down your connection. Some recommended ways of doing this are:

Logging in well before 2:30 PM.
Being in a town that isn't heavily frequented by other Maplers.
Being in a channel that is less populated than others.
Avoiding being clustered in large groups.

Avoiding performing graphically intensive skills. Remaining still is best.
Avoiding Maplers or monsters that might be performing graphically intensive skills.


Please be aware that although the servers are set to Pacific time, there can sometimes be variations in exact time between worlds. It is strongly recommended that you log in well before the event is scheduled and remain logged in even if you do not receive the gift box at exactly 2:30 PM Pacific.

yea, i agree, for people who dont need the ap reset,its basically just a 2x event

So, how does this AP reset that resets all AP (including HP and MP) work?

Supposing I have a char I was HP-washing, so he's got some AP in HP.
I would want them taken out of MP, obviously, and put into main-stat.
Is that going to happen?
Will they get taken out of HP, and if so, by what key (how many HP per AP)?

What a waste of a hottime... If only we could have had this BEFORE I spent 50 legend coins getting a reset a few months ago.

Inb4 it resets the 10 AP a lot of people got from compensation.

Didn't they give out an AP Reset with a hot time a few months back?

No longer need it =/ . Would be nice to have a storm growth thrown in there.

Does this mean I can use this AP reset and fix my un-washable DrK now? I use the Reset, and then use my AP resets to take out of MP, adding my points back into str after im done?

Can anyone link me to the HP washing thread with the INT equips method which raised MP when putting points in it, therefore allowing you to put them on HP?

Sorru, I'm unfamiliar with the ones before. So does it reset the HP that we've previously put in from HP Washing years ago?

Hmmmmmm, I may have to reload maple onto my netbook and get a reset for my bucc as well.

No, it just resets STR/DEX/INT/LUK back to 4 meaning you can go statless if your 1st job advancement required you to have some stat in them (25 base dex to advance for a Thief).

This is the method I'm going to use but it's basically the only one available.

1. Use an AP reset scroll to reset all your str/dex/int/luk points.

2. Add 800~ or so points into INT (Can decide how many to add)

3. Wear as much %int/%all etc gear as possible to get your INT as high as possible

4. Put the rest of your points into MP

5. Use another AP reset scroll. You'll know have 200~ points stuck into MP and the other 800 free

6. You can now put +1 AP into HP (varying amount of HP) or reset a point out of MP and put it into HP (A constant # of HP)

Continue doing so until you reach a satisfied amount. Best to wait for a 1k nx for 1 ap reset sale.

Note: You need your base stat to be a certain level before doing something e.g. Bowmans require 25 dex so when doing something in this guide, something won't work until you reach 25 dex.

Thanks. What if I don't have TWO full AP reset scrolls?

I wanted an SP reset for my DS. I'm getting close to wanting to try my luck with MW30 and since I set myself up with the assumption that I'd never bother with MW30, I only have 8 SP :(
