THE CATCH IS: This one's about stuff not done yet... ANYWHERE.
DO YOUR BETS, GENTLEMEN!
Edit:
About the 9th thing: example follows
SKILL COMBOS:
Say, you could fuse one of your skills with a party member's... so you could make a new much powerful one. However, to not abuse them, you could use a new bar, that recharges itself ONLY OVER TIME, and is used more or less depending on the combo used. Of coruse, tweak them for good results.
Examples:
-Dispel + hyper body = SURVIVOR
-increase maximun hp by... 100%. Good not only for ranged people, but also, berserk...
-Pierce + Storm of arrows = ARROW HELL
-That's gonna leave a mark...
-Slash Blast + Flash jump = CANNONBALL
-The warrior LAUNCHES the hermit against the target, dealing insane damage, but putting the hermit in danger... (hermit receives like 10% touch damage only from that single hit, so the hermit... you know... survives :p
This started in 2006 when the old forums were still around on the Maple Story website. In the Scania forum a bunch of people decided to make their own MS area//city, like Ludibrium, Orbis, El Nath, Henesys, etc. So don't you think its time that Maple Story got the first ever user created area? That would be cool wouldn't it? The city is to be named Cascadia, as there would probably be some dispute over the name. (That is how i see it, anyways.)
So in order to get everyones say, i am going to post everyones idea for this new city (Nothing inappropriate please.) and I am going to put down who wrote it (Southperry username , not IGN). Also when posting ideas, please do a grammar/spell check before submitting your idea
We should have a say on what we should get on Maple Story, and this is a great way too do it!
If you are just going to post here and say "The GMs will never listen to this" or along the lines of that, please just do not post. I have no time for people who want to be negative. Even if you do think that that will happen, post your ideas anyways, and have fun!
You know what to do!
Ideas so far:
Geography/Town:
Deep within the Ocean of Ossyria there is a lonely island know as Cascadia. Travel through the ocean to find its hidden entrance. You find a ladder near the surface level of the ocean. Intruiged, you climb it and you are meeted at a lonely map at a base of some lake, complete with a magestic waterfall. Behindthe waterfall you find a opening. You take a deep breath and enter through it. Behold, Cascadia!
(Credit goes too: MechMike who originally came up with the waterfall idea! and to those who agreed)
Quests:
Quest By Validate (SW Username)
Level Req: None.
Job Req: All Jobs
Details of quest: BUFFS!: Something new that would be added to Maple Story would be buffs. You do an extensive quest which requires you to go into the castle at the summit of Cascadia. Upon finishing the quest, you get a special buff skill that makes your character glow. You will need materials for different buffs because the skill gives you a buff but different materials will change the type of buff you get. (The buff will make the outline of your character glow that color)
Red: +20 Dex (Stat bonuses can be edited to prevent overpowering)
Blue: + 20 Str (This is just my example)
Green: + 20 Int
Yellow: + 20 Luk
The materials will be Orbs that can only be collected in Cascadia. You need to collect 100 orbs for one buff that will last an X amount of time.(Probably for minutes).
After you activate the buff on whichever color you have acquired, your character starts to glow that color and you get the stat boost. As you are given the buff, the number of your colored orbs goes down over time. Your character's glow goes away and you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can cast the buff again.

July 28th: The Map//Quest Sections have been added into Spoilers, to make the thread . New Rule when posting ideas has been made.

- All bosses involved in the Pink Bean fight have had their magic attack reduced by 170
- The room in which the MR hawk statue bans you to now has an NPC in it. He has a script called "Pink_Been_Out"
- Pink Bean was changed to have a public and "explosive reward".
- A bug in which the 2nd form of the MR hawk statue only having 20k HP was fixed.
- Mini-beans now have the boss flag set to 1
- Pink Bean and the ML hawk statue now cast a different version of
It's stronger now. The HP before was 50% (this shows the HP percentage in which a boss needs to be before it can cast a skill) and the x value was 1500 and the y value was 500. Usually when there's an X and Y value like this, it means health regeneration. Maybe this move is supposed to be a constant regen move?
A new message was added to show to new users:

All of the nerfs for EFPQ are with the boss and its evolutions.
As the title says, create your own if you can, you don't have to provide pictures of the skills and all that, just give some of your ideas here =P.
Here's mine, she's the main protagonist from my own comic series. If you're interested in my comics, go to my homepage =P:
Alexia Kurenai
Stats
Land Speed: 4.5/5
Aerial Mobility: 3/5
Jumping: 3/5
Recovery: 3/5
Weight: 1.5/5
Shielding: 3/5
Grabbing: 1/5
Power: 3/5
Range: 5/5
Priority: 3/5
Basically she is a fire mage with average stats with her advantage in her range and speed whereas the disadvantage is that she is lightweighted and literally hopeless with her grabs. (range sux along with the damage)
A moves:
Basically like most characters, A moves are normally the kicking, punching, sword slashing type of thing. In this case Alexia uses her petal staff and pretty much whacks her opponent down, most of her A abilities have crap power so nothing much to say about that...
B moves:
(B) Fire Arrow
Like the normal beginner fire magician, Alexia has the ability to fire burning projectiles at a fast speed. The damage however isn't very high, similar to Foxs' laser gun.
Spoiler
(B) (>) Grand Fireball
Unlike Fire Arrow, this ability is kinda nasty. Alexia hurls a huge ball of fire that blasts it's way across the screen damaging enemies in it's path. Though the damage is around 15% upon impact, it is rather slow and fairly easy to dodge.
Spoiler
(B) (^) Petal Phase
A semi recovery move in which Alexia turns herself into petals that gives temporary invincibility and can move a short distance across the screen for a short amount of time.
Spoiler
(B) (\/) Fire Wall
Alexia summons a burning wall of fire that can block most projectiles as well as damaging enemies nearby. The wall lasts for around 5 seconds and enemies will be incinerated within the flames in a similar fashion to a fire flower.
Spoiler
Final Smash Crimson Fire Lotus: Alexia summons burning projectiles that surround her damaging everyone within range. When the petals land on the ground, it erupts into flames dealing heavy damage to everyone nearby.
Spoiler
Also I can't be bothered with the taunts...

Eek! I think I may have done the numbers wrong, oh well sorry guys. But the current numbers and the ranks are kind of similiar to what most people will be.
So I've noticed people using a number behind the speed of a weapon, for instance a slow (7) spear, or a fast (3) one-handed sword.
Questions are:
1/
- Is there a formula to calculate the number of normal-attack hits per minute (or hour or whatsoever) for a weapon with given attack speed?
- Does a skill has a speed value (like the weapons' numbers) somewhere in the database? If it does, with the 2 values, would it be possible to calculate the number of hits of that skill with that weapon per amount of time? For instance, how many Dragon Crushers with an Omega Spear per minute? (answer is 60, taken from my own practical experiments)
