College time. My 4 year old desktop isn't entirely up to par. tl;dr people skip text wall.

I'm kinda between two different Dells right now. An Inspiron 1525 and one of their Studio ones. Yeah, I know. Dell. The guy at Best Buy laughed at me too. But hey, for <$1000 both have 4 gigs RAM and a 320 hard drive. I spent some time wandering the internet this morning, then tried to avoid the employees at Best Buy while I did some out-of-the-house comparisons. (Plus I had $45 in gift cards to spend) Ended up with a stoned WoW player trying to sell me on a Toshiba or an HP that were both identical to the Dells in terms of specs. I get home and have my sister and a nerd god friend of mine cursing HP laptops.

What kind of laptop do you have? Do you like it? Could I find it for under $1000 with 4 GB RAM? Any recommendations in terms of brand/model?

I was wonder if there is a way to keep yourself from getting d/cd when FM d/c hackers try to d/c you. Everytime I get a ch 1 fm 1 spot; a FM hacker comes in and d/cs me, and I want a way to keep that from happening. Is there anything someone can do?

Back before I got a new PC Text based MMOs were really the only thing it could run, so I joined a few of them.
Well, one day Cactuar traded in game currency (Which he borrowed from me.) in exchange for the basic coding for his own MMO. (Or something like that, feel free to correct me, Ben.)
So, fast forward a few months: His game is up and running thanks to an agreement with another coder. I am an admin at this point and everything is fine. One day a new feature is introduced: Luck. It is a hidden stat that the player cannot see, and determines drop luck and various other things that require chance. At first it is a fixed number the player gets (randomly) from the start of the game. (1 - 10)
But eventually they made it so that it changes every day.

Now, if you hadn't guessed already I am speculating that Maple Story has a similar system, as some players are better at scrolling things than others. Do you lot think this is in any way possible?
