I totally missed that line. That explains quite a few things.
However, I am still not quite sure how tied together Hazuki and Suwa are. What's with the scene where he comes and asks her for Takumi's file? They were alone, so if they knew each other, why did they act like they didn't? What's with them?
I know they are both puppets to NOZOMI (especially seeing as Hazuki is a Porter later)...but what the heck? It's pretty clear which murders Hazuki committed and which Suwa committed - but what was the point? I understand that almost all of the murders affect Takumi in some way, some more directly than others, but were Hazuki and Suwa doing a type of planning together or simply taking orders from Norose/NOZOMI?
I think what I'm trying to get at it is... Was NOZOMI's plan really much more deep than the VN explicitly explains? I think the VN makes it so a lot about Suwa + Hazuki has to be figured out on our own, don't you? I'm also quite curious how two young people like Suwa and Hazuki could have been so corrupted by NOZOMI...
---
Honestly, I wasn't that surprised when they revealed Shogun was the real Takumi, either. I was kinda like, The heck, how? But then it quickly made sense to me and fit very well.
---
Another thing I'm wondering: Takumi put Nanami's hand in his fridge right after that incident occurred. Rimi was the one that got it and brought it back to Shogun, yes? How'd she know to? Just by chance of going there and looking? Shogun somehow being aware of what happened and telling her to? What? Did I miss something again >_>?
Spoiler
In all honestly, I really don't know what the events were supposed to do. Some did have a direct relation to Takumi, but many of them just kinda happened.
I know in B's ending it's explained that Suwa and Hazuki were a couple by the "Church of divine light" or something, which I believe was just NOZOMI, if I recall. I'll have to check out Grim's logs and stuff to see if I can figure out a direct connection to why the new-gen events were required to happen.
I believe they act like they don't know each other because they feel "God's Gaze" aka Shogun watching them. By the way, that is how I think Rimi knew. Shogun is Takumi, so he's going to know what he does and where he places things. By the way, I'm curious to know if we're getting off-topic now, considerin' we're solely talkin' about the VN now.

Screw getting off topic! People never like to discuss anime much anyways!
Yeah that "church" was the research company that was started by Sena's father, no? I know at the least it was just another cover for NOZOMI. That "church" is what did all the early testing on giga-lo-maniacs and Sena's mom. Suwa and Hazuki were in it? It would make sense if that's what got them so corrupted, but I don't remember the part talking about them in it.
Group Dive: I still don't understand a lot about how this one happened. I wish I knew what went on up there. It involves Yui's twin sister, so the connection there is obvious. And the wheelchair tie-in obviously relates to driving Takumi to the edge. But still it's kinda random feeling...
Pregnant Man: I don't see how this one affects Takumi, besides the gross factor. Perhaps it was just to show THAT HAZUKI IS FRICKIN' INSANE. Lol ;_;
Staking: The one is also sort of confusing. It's pretty obvious Suwa did this one, right? Or was it Hazuki because she had that drawing of it? I still don't know. Suwa's trademark is those cross daggers, but Hazuki knew more about this murder. Help! And of course Takumi deluded seeing Rimi doing it... The effect it had on him was obvious, as it was the first murder that directly dragged him into the plan.
Vampire: Pretty random... It tied in really well with Hazuki and those blood packet things, but still didn't affect him that much. *shrugs* Maybe you have a better take on this one.
Brainless: VERY OBVIOUS this was directed at Takumi. She freakin' removed the brain of the one man Takumi really felt comfortable with.
*can't remember @chan name*: This one was Suwa's doing, right? The three guys that were paid by Suwa to beat up Takumi got impaled. This one affected Takumi because he recognized them.
Am I forgetting any? I don't wanna go back right now.
Good point about that. Shogun's gaze is on Takumi a lot of the times, so I'm sure he saw him put the hand in there. I never considered that was why Suwa and Hazuki played dumb about knowing each other. Hm....

I just went through the B Ending. All it states is that they did it together to push Takumi to his Pshycological limit, so they could gather his CODE sample. Also, by pushing him out of his shell so quickly, the real Takumi would be forced to come out, and they would get his CODE sample.
You're missing the Tasty Hand =)
Also, in case you didn't know, the group dive was caused by Suwa creating an illusion of zombies, and making them dive off. At the last second, Shogun began watching, and said a phrase, which caused one of the divers, to suddenly say "Whose eyes are those eyes". The video, also created by Suwa, was made by NOZOMI technology. However, he couldn't recall the backdrop of the rooftop. So he used an image to make it more realistic. Little did he know that the image was 5 years ago, when the tower was still being built. Which is why Ban was a threat.
My replies take a bit of time because I'm running though the game as I type.
Oh, regardin' the relation of the staking, I really can't decypher this well, so you take a look.
B Ending Scene
Spoiler
A dark road&, with few people on it&, located away from the heart of the city&.
As I walked down it&, I spotted a human figure coming my way&. Since the road was narrow&, we would have to angle ourselves sideways to pass one another&.
But I went cold when I saw the appearance of the figure walking toward me&.
It was that Darth Spider man again&.
We crossed paths&.
Darth Spider displayed no particular reaction&.
My heart went into a tumult&.
An emotion resembling obsession rose at the back of my brain&.
A nasty old pimento had been hitting on my woman&. It pissed me off&. I wanted to kill him&.
That feeling&, truly coming out of left field&, drove me into motion&.
The face of "my woman" was vague in my memory&. I couldn't recall her clearly&. It was doubtful that she even existed in the first place&.
Despite that&, the face of the "nasty old pimento who'd been hitting on my woman" appeared vividly at the back of my mind&.
I'd seen that face before&.
He was the victim of the "staking" incident&.
-----
My memory leapt ahead&, and I was in a familiar&, dark&, narrow alleyway&.
It was the scene of the "staking&."
And in front of my eyes was the victim who'd died there&.
I was tightly clenching the aging man's neck&.
His body convulsed violently&, and bubbles frothed from his mouth&, and his eyes rolled back in his head&.
I went faintly cold&, tasting the sensation of someone's life disappearing in my own hands&.
At last&, the man's body stopped moving&.
-----
After confirming this&, I--Komaeda&, who'd carried out the actual homicide in this case--took my hands off his neck&, kicked his fallen corpse once in the side&, and began to make my departure&.
-----
"Aaah&.&.&.&."
Hearing a voice&, I turned around to look&, and the man who should've been dead had risen&, the whites of his eyes showing&.
His hands reached for me&.
-----
With a shriek&, I punched him down&.
But though his movements themselves were sluggish&, he kept rising&, without fail&.
I seized his neck again&.
In the same way as before&, more powerfully than before&, putting my whole body and spirit into it&, I strangled him as hard as I could&.
With enough strength to snap the bones in his neck&.
He soon stopped moving again&.
This time&, I put my ear to his mouth&, making sure he wasn't breathing&, then let go of him&.
For some time&, I watched over him&.
-----
And then&, for some reason--
The man who should've been dead jerked again&, his body quivering&, and began to get up&.
His expression itself remained absolutely unchanged; he had the face of one who was dead&.
Yet he rose and approached me&.
As I started to retreat&, terrified&, my foot trod on something&.
When I looked down at my foot with a start&, a huge number of cross-shaped stakes were scattered across the roadway&.
A phrase from one of Phantasm's songs played at the back of my brain&.
"Strike the stake&, strike the stake"
I had to drive a stake into the monster in front of me&, and stop him from moving&. If not&, I'd be in trouble&.
Controlled by that sense of danger&, I hurled the rising man back against the wall&.
And picked up a stake&.
I didn't know when it had happened&, but my other hand was already holding a hammer--

Actually, I think Suwa created a dullision and did something, so the person arrested really did commit the crime, just under EXTREME psycological pressure from Suwa.

Oh yeah, Tasty Hand. Tahaha
I didn't know that. I knew the video was fabricated, due to Ban's discovery, though. How'd you find out these details?
Chaos;Head 7: What the hell happened? (No need to answer, btw) And what's with the pink digger? It's really confusing how the people just go back to walking as if nothing happened. Do they just forget that delusion as soon as they are out of the influence? I've really got to make some progress on the novel (only finished chapter 1). Hopefully that will actually clear it up.
Soul Eater 32: Excalibur owns. Hero fails. Finally got to see Excalibur in action, even if the main part got cut out. Disappointing end though.

I wonder what Ami really wants. It's also odd how the rest of the class is suddenly treating Ryuuji as if he's been popular since forever. Taiga and Minorin continues to excel.
Gundam 00 S2 Ep8
Wow, I am speechless after that episode... Absolutely no gundam action at all, but it was still awesome. Lmao at Millenia asking if Marie and Allelujah were lovers.
Spoiler
So it seems that Tieria is a female and Regene is a male. Louise seems to have the same split personality problem Marie/Soma had. Can't wait to see what the O-Riser is.

LOL!
Tieria is a male, dude. HAHAHA That was just a disguise, as per suggestion of Sumeragi's plan. Good show. Lol
Gundam 00 S2 ep8: HECK YEAH ALI.
And let's not forget the foreshadowing of an upcoming god-tier suit on both sides.
