Hello Maplers!*
We are nearing the end of November, where Thanksgiving and Black Friday will close things out with a bang, and the festive month of December waits in the wings! We’ve given you a heads up about this before, but here’s another reminder for those of you who may have forgotten what’s happening next month.
First and foremost - Style Crates. As many of you know, November 13th’s update was the final Style Crate & Shop update, filling it with many cosmetics that Maplers had requested. This included 5 Epic costumes making a short comeback appearance. Starting in December, MapleStory 2 will introduce a brand new cosmetic capsule machine, effectively discontinuing Style Crates. That being said, you will still be able to access the contents of November’s Style Coin Shop by double-clicking your Style Coins in your inventory, even after December’s update. Alternatively, you can interact with a new NPC that will be placed in Queenstown that will open up the last shop as well. The Style Coins will not expire, but the selection of what you can spend them on will be limited to the contents of November’s Style Coin Shop from here on out. The 5 returning Epic costumes will also be removed from this shop during December’s update maintenance, so if one of them catches your eye, make sure to pick it up before that day. (Spoiler: Black Friday will include a Style Crate sale for Maplers!)
Because of the discontinuation of the Style Crate system, this also means that the one-time Maple Milestone Pack offering 5 Style Crates for the price of 1 will be going away as well.
Additionally, the Blue Meret market selection will be condensed into the Functional and Lifestyle tabs as previously discussed. Cosmetic outfits from this market will be relocated into the new cosmetic capsule machine and offered as part of a regularly rotating, wider variety!
We want to remind you that Red Merets will also be going away in December’s update. We posted a notice about this several weeks back, but want to remind everyone again to use your Red Merets before that day! Any Red Merets left over in your inventory after their removal will be converted into health potions.
We hope you’re all looking forward to the holidays and the incoming MapleStory 2 expansion!
