    Cadena Intro

    • Welcome new character Cadena to Maple World! Cadena is the only survivor of Magnus’s attack on the Heliseum royal family.
    • You will begin your adventure as Cadena in the new area of Grandis, Savage Terminal. Savage Terminal is a back-alley town where mischief is common and shadowy characters gather. The notorious Shadowdealers have an outpost here.
    • Cadena was raised by the Shadowdealers and performs several missions in Savage Terminal.
    • Characters other than Cadena can go to Savage Terminal using Pantheon’s movement portal or a Hyper Teleport Rock.
    • Cadena has a streetwise edge and excels at close combat. She utilizes Thief equipment, and her main stat is Luck.
    • Her primary weapon is a Chain, and her secondary weapon is a Warp Forge.
    • Cadena has her own Emblems:
      • Lv. 60: Silver Agent Emblem: STR/DEX/INT/LUK +5, Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +1.

    Beginner

    • Haggle:* Purchase items cheaper at shops. Max level: 1.
      • Level 1: Purchase items 4\% cheaper at shops. Does not apply if the purchase cost is above 70\% of the sales cost. When stacked with the Merchandising guild skill, the higher figure is applied first.
    • Back to HQ: Traverse secret routes known only to the Shadowdealers to quickly return to the hideout. Max level: 1.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 100. Moves you to the Shadowdealer Hideout. Cooldown: 600 seconds.
    • Unfair Advantage: Deals extra damage to foes weaker than you. Link Skill. Max level: 2.
      • Level 1: Attacks against weaker opponents deal +3\% damage. Attacks against monsters afflicted by Abnormal Statuses deal +3\% damage.
      • Level 2: Attacks against weaker opponents deal +6\% damage. Attacks against monsters afflicted by Abnormal Statuses deal +6\% damage.
    1st Job

    • Chain Arts: Pursuit: Use your chain to grapple to a platform or enemy. Press the skill key to launch the chain horizontally or at a vertical angle. Striking horizontally only targets monsters, while striking vertically only targets platforms within a certain distance. While airborne you can strike downward to temporarily slow your descent. If the Skill key is pressed again while the chain is tethered, you will quickly move to the target location. When the chain is tethered and while moving with the skill, you become temporarily stealthed. Enemies struck by the skill are briefly slowed. Can be used while using other skills. [Up + Skill key] launches 45 degrees upwards. [Down + Skill key] launches 45 degrees downwards. Max level: 10.
      • Level 10: Mp Cost: 10, Damage: 100\%, Max Enemies Hit: 1, Number of Attacks: 1, 100\% chance to slow enemies for 5 seconds.
    • Chain Arts: Thrash: Press the Attack Key to whip your chain forward, then bring it crashing down. Enemies hit by the 2nd strike are pushed back. Foes struck by the chain are slowed for a short time. Other attacks can be used between the 1st and 2nd strike to deal enhanced damage. Can be used while using other skills. Max level: 10. Lv. 10 required to learn Chain Arts: Thrash II.
      • Level 10: MP Cost: 13, (1st hit) Damage: 150\%, Max Enemies Hit: 4, Number of Attacks: 2 (2nd Hit) Damage: 150\%, Max Enemies Hit: 6, Number of Attacks: 2, 100\% chance of slowing enemies for 5 seconds. Skills used immediately after 1st hit gain +10\% Final Damage (Excludes Chain Arts: Thrash).
    • Summon Scimitar: Summons a scimitar to instantly cut through enemies. Usable while airborne and with other skills. Max level: 20.
      • Level 20: MP Cost: 15, Damage: 125\%, Max Enemies Hit: 6, Number of Attacks: 5, Cooldown: 4 seconds.
    • Shadowstep: Use mid-jump to jump a second time. The jump distance increases with the skill level. Max level: 5.
      • Level 5: MP cost: 5, jumps further.
    • The Way of Shadows: Your training in the ways of the Shadowdealers has left you with a permanent boost to Avoidability and Speed. Max level: 10.
      • Level 10: Avoidability: +15\%, Speed: +20.
    • Uncanny Luck: Your hard life on the streets has left you with a certain wisdom that some might attribute to luck. Max level: 10.
      • Level 10: Permanently increases LUK by 50.
    2nd Job

    • Chain Arts: Thrash II: Enhances Chain Arts: Thrash's second hit. Required Skill: Chain Arts: Thrash Lv. 10. Max level: 10. Lv.10 required to learn Chain Arts: Thrash III.
      • Level 10: Chain Arts: Thrash 2nd Hit Damage: 200\%, Max Enemies Hit: 6, Number of Attacks: 3.
    • Summon Claw: Summons a claw weapon that strikes downward diagonally. Only usable while airborne. Can be used with other skills. Required Skill: Muscle Memory Lv. 1. Max level: 20.
      • Level 20: MP Cost: 20, Damage: 235\%, Max Enemies Hit: 10, Number of Attacks: 4, Cooldown: 3 seconds.
    • Summon Shuriken: Summons a spinning shuriken that explodes, maiming enemies and knocking them back. Required Skill: Muscle Memory Lv. 1. Max level: 19.
      • Level 19: MP Cost 28, Strikes for 205\% damage 40 times over 7 seconds. Automatically explodes once all attacks are expended, or when duration ends. Explosion deals 450\% damage to 8 enemies 3 times. Press the skill key again to manually detonate the shuriken. Cooldown: 10 seconds.
    • Weapon Booster: Consumes MP to increase the attack speed of all weapons for a short time. Must have a Chain Equipped. Max level: 10.* Required skill: Weapon Mastery Lv. 5.
      • Level 10: MP Cost 10, Increases attack speed of all weapons for 200 seconds.
    • Muscle Memory: Extensive training with a varied assortment of weapons increases the damage of all your attacks. Whenever you switch summoned weapons, you execute a bonus attack and receive the Muscle Memory buff. This buff stacks up to the number of summonable weapons you possess (excluding Chain Arts). Summoning any weapon besides the last one used will refresh this buff. Muscle Memory is not affected by effects that increase buff duration. Lv. 10 required to learn Muscle Memory III. Max level: 10.
      • Level 10:* Triggers upon switching summoned weapons. (Stack Bonus) Attack Skill Damage +5\% per stack, for 15 seconds.     • Weapon Mastery: Increases Mastery with all Summoned Weapons, as well as your Chain Arts. Skill Lv. 10 required to learn Weapons Expert. Max level: 10.
      • Level 10: Mastery with Chain, and all Summoned Weapons increased by 50\%.
    • Physical Training: Your physical training grants you a permanent bonus to LUK and DEX. Max level: 5.
      • Level 5: Permanently increases LUK by 30 and DEX by 30.
    • Wisdom of Shadows: Call upon your training as a Shadowdealer to permanently increase your Attack Power, Avoidability, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage. Max level: 10. Skill Lv. 10 required to learn Wisdom of Shadows II.

    • Summon Daggers: Summons 2 daggers to instantly slash upward. Can only be used while airborne, and you will remain in the air until the attack is finished. Enemies struck by the blade are Terrified for a set time. Required Skill: Muscle Memory II Lv. 1. Max level: 20.
      • Level 20: MP Cost: 35, Damage: 315\%, Max Enemies Hit: 4, Number of Attacks: 8. Enemies Struck will have a 100\% chance to become Terrified for 10 sec, reducing their Defense by 30\%. Cooldown: 10 seconds.
    • Summon Decoy Bomb: Jumps backwards while releasing a series of explosives. When used while airborne, the bombs are dropped at your current location. The bombs explode after a set time. Required Skill: Muscle Memory II Lv. 1. Max level: 20.

    • Keen Eye: Sizes up your opponents to determine their weaknesses, allowing you to deal more effective blows and increasing you avoidability permanently. Max level: 19.

    • Chain Arts: Thrash IV: Enhances Chain Arts: Thrash's second hit. Required Skill: Chain Arts: Thrash III Lv. 10. Max level: 10.

    • Summon Spiked Bat: Summons a spiked bat that crashes down on foes. Usable three times consecutively. You can move during use by pressing the directional keys. Using another skill before activating the 3rd hit will trigger the skill's cooldown. Enemies struck by the 3rd Hit are Confused. Required Skill: Muscle Memory III Lv. 1. Max level: 30.

    • Chain Arts: Takedown: Snaps your chain out far and fast in a merciless flurry of strikes. Enemies struck by the initial blow are stunned. Grants a full stack of Muscle Memory. Foes hit cannot be stunned again for 90 seconds by Chain Arts: Beatdown, or other skills. MP Cost: 255, Damage 300\%, Attacks: 2, Stun Length: 10 seconds. Strikes nearby foes from high to low HP.     • Nova’s Warrior: Temporarily increases the stats of all party members. Does not stack with Maple Warrior, Call of Cygnus, Nova Warrior, Sengoku Warrior, Presidents Orders, or Rhinne's Protection. Max level: 30.
      • Level 30: MP Cost: 70, increases all stats assigned APs by 15\% for 900 seconds.
    • Nova Hero’s Will: Hones your resolve to ignore certain abnormal status effects. Immune to Abnormal Status for 3 seconds after use. Max level: 5.

    • Muscle Memory III: Your continued training and familiarity with your weapons further enhances their deadliness.     • Chain Arts: Void Strike: You throw your chains with such intensity that they tear through the fabric of space and time, wreaking havoc on your foes. Does not trigger Attack Reflection. Max level: 25.
      • Level 1: MP Cost: 1000, Duration: 36 seconds. Creates giant chains that travel along an arbitrary path inflicting 124\% damage 6 times to up to 10 enemies. Chain Cooldown: 0.6 second, Cooldown: 179 seconds.
      • Level 25: MP Cost: 1000, Duration: 60 seconds. Creates giant chains that travel along an arbitrary path inflicting 220\% damage 6 times to up to 10 enemies. Chain Cooldown: 0.6 second, Cooldown: 155 seconds.
    • Apocalypse Cannon: Summons an ancient Nova Weapon reforged by the Shadowdealers. The cannon draws in energy, and eventually fires. Does not trigger Attack Reflection. Max level: 25.
      • Level 1: MP Cost 1000. The cannon gathers energy for 10 seconds, periodically inflicting 151\% damage 4 times to up to 8 enemies at set intervals. After amassing enough energy, it creates a supernova that deals 764\% damage 8 times to up to 15 enemies. Cooldown 25 seconds.
      • Level 25: MP Cost 1000. The cannon gathers energy for 10 seconds, periodically inflicting 295\% damage 4 times to up to 8 enemies at set intervals. After amassing enough energy, it creates a supernova that deals 1460\% damage 8 times to up to 15 enemies. Cooldown 25 seconds.

    Other Changes

    • We've reduced the amount of time required to complete the 5th Job Advancement.
    • You no longer need to wait in between charging Arcane Stones.
    • When you use Nodestones, you will now only receive Nodes your class can use.
    • The amount of EXP required to level up 5th Job skills has been adjusted.
    • The max level of Arcane Symbols has been increased to 20.

    Maple Achievements

    Requirement: Lv. 33 and above

    • Track your in-game progress with new Maple Achievements!
    • Begin by accepting the quest '[Required] Begin Maple Achievements' from the quest notifier on the left side of the screen. Once the quest is complete, the Maple Achievement system will be unlocked.
    • Maple Achievements can be accessed from the menu or by keybinding it using its quickslot button.
    • The Maple Achievement information is shared throughout the account regardless of world.
    • Maple Achievements are organized into multiple categories. While some categories are currently empty, more achievements will be added in the future and the system will grow over time.
    • Categories include Level Up, Job, Item, Adventure, Battle, Social, and Event.
    • Completing an achievement will grant you Achievement Points. Each achievement can give a varying amount of points (between 10 and 100, depending on the difficulty).
    • Your total number of Achievement Points determines your Achievement Rank. This also grants you an Achievement Insignia.
    • Players can pick which insignia they want to use and display their insignia to others by using the Maple Crest skill which automatically unlocks with the Maple Achievement system.
    • Achievement Ranks:
      • Bronze: 10 - 4,999 points
      • Silver: 5,000 - 19,999 points
      • Gold: 20,000 - 29,999 points
      • Platinum: 30,000 - 35,999 points
      • Diamond: 36,000+ points
      • Master: Top 100 ranks
    • The Achievement Ranking system is based on Achievement Points and will be updated every Monday. Please note the Achievement Ranking system will be unlocked in a future update.
    • Achievements can be tracked under the achievement notifier by clicking the star icon on the achievement. Up to five achievements can be tracked using the achievement notifier.
    • Some achievements may even give rewards once they are completed.
    • Achievements which can no longer be completed will be moved automatically to the Memory category.
    Spirit Savior

    • A new dungeon has been added to Arcana: Spirit Savior!
    • In Spirit Savior, you need to save as many trapped Rock Spirits as possible within the time limit. At the same time, you also need to avoid the Toxic Stalker that appears.
    • Characters who have completed the 'The Harmony of the Forest' quest can enter the Spirit Savior map by talking to the Escaped Rock Spirit in the Grove of the Spirit Tree map.
    • After destroying a trap holding a Rock Spirit, press the NPC Chat key and the spirit will begin to accompany you.
    • If you bring the Rock Spirit to the center of the map safely, you will receive Rescue Points based on the number of spirits saved up to 2,500 points (5 spirits) at a time.
    • When you first enter the dungeon, you are given a set amount of defense. If you are hit by monsters, your defense points will decrease, If it hits 0, you will drop all Rock Spirits that are accompanying you. In addition, for every Rock Spirit that is currently accompanying you, damage to your defense will be increased.
    • You can enter the Spirit Savior dungeon three times per day.
    Rewards:

    • When the time limit is up, you will acquire one Spirit Coin per 1,000 Rescue Points.
    • Three Spirit Coins can be traded for one Arcane Symbol: Arcana.
    • You can acquire 30 Spirit Coins per day.
    ADDITIONAL UPDATES

    A Better Maple

    • We’re always trying to make a Better Maple, and we’re focusing on several areas in this update!
      • When certain Use items with the same expiration date are given out (such as Occult Cubes and EXP Coupons from a daily gift), they are consolidated into one slot.
      • An extra confirmation screen has been added when throwing away a chair.
      • For titles you've owned previously, you can now pay a fixed meso fee and have the title reissued. Speak to the following NPCs to reissue your titles.
        • NPC Wence: Silent Crusade title
        • NPC Oko: King of Root Abyss title
        • NPC Eileen: Maple Chat title
        • NPC Roco: Black Heaven and Heroes of Maple titles
      • A notification window is displayed when you try to register a skill that can't be registered in pet auto buff and skill macros.
      • You will be able to register your pet's auto buffs with useful skills you obtain from Hyper buff skills and Item Potential skills that have no cooldown.
      • A pop-up notification is displayed when the maximum number of Maple Legion Coins have been accumulated.
      • When the client is closed, the Soul Weapon UI's on/off status will be saved.
      • At the Mu Lung Point Shop, you can recharge your Throwing Stars and Bullets.
      • The maximum count of Crystals and Crystal Ores that can go into one slot is increased from 100 to 3,000.
      • Medals will now be instantly registered in your collection after acquiring them.
      • You can now redeem multiple Nodestones that are registered to a hotkey without having to wait for the previous Nodestone opening animation to finish.
      • On the character select window, it will now show you the number of used and available character slots for 5 seconds after logging in. It can be viewed again by clicking the server button in the top-right corner.
      • On the character select window, the number of character pages will now be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
      • The functionality to make your pet invisible using the Skill Effect Transparency slider is coming back. You can adjust this by going to Options > Graphics > Effects > Skill Effect Transparency. This only works on your own pets, not those of other players.
    Boss Reward Changes

    • You will now receive meso rewards based on the difficulty of a boss.
    • When you defeat a boss, you will receive an Intense Power Crystal. The Intense Power Crystal is a time-limited ETC item. Its value is based on the difficulty of the boss that was defeated and the size of the part. In Reboot world, the value will be even higher (3x as much).
      • You can sell the Crystal to the Collector in the Free Market to receive mesos equal to its value. The Collector will only buy 60 Crystals per week.
    • Existing potion rewards (except Elixirs and Power Elixirs) and mesos have been removed from boss rewards. The drop rate of Elixirs and Power Elixirs has been adjusted.
    • Rewards have been added to the top level difficulty bosses. Absolabs equipment, which could be purchased from coin shops, has been added as rewards from Hard Lotus and Hard Damien.
      • Arcane Umbra equipment, which could be purchased from the coin shop, has been added as rewards from Hard Lucid.
      • Drop rate-increasing effects will not apply to Absolabs equipment or Arcane Shade equipment.
    • A new reward has been added to Hard Lotus. Berserked: Face accessory. Req. Lv. 150. STR/DEX/INT/LUK +10, Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +10, Weapon DEF/Magic DEF +200. Five slots. Tradeable until equipped.
    • A new reward has been added to Hard Damien. Magic Eyepatch: Eye accessory. Req. Lv. 160. STR/DEX/INT/LUK +15, Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +3, Weapon DEF/Magic DEF +300. Three slots. Tradeable until equipped.
    • A new equipment set, Dark Boss set, has been added.

    • Board the Cryojet in non-Reboot worlds to show off how generous you are!
    • Accept the quest '[Nova] It's Snowing Mesos on Your Cryojet Mount!' from NPC Kemdi to board the Cryojet in Henesys or Leafre.
    • You need to pay 300,000,000 mesos to board. The mount will scatter 200,000,000 mesos to everyone in the channel in which you boarded the Cryojet.
    • Players will have 30 seconds to get to the channel where the Cryojet is about to start scattering mesos. Only players (not pets) can pick up the mesos scattered by the Cryojet.
    • Pressing the spacebar key will display an effect and scatter the mesos even faster!
    • Only 1 player can board the Cryojet in each town per channel. A total 6 players can board the mount at the same in each world.
    • Players who have boarded the Cryojet cannot perform any of the following while they are mounted: Use portals, Auction House, Meso Market, Cash Shop, trade, Monster Life, or change channels.
    • Players must wait 10 minutes before boarding again.

    • Welcome new character Cadena to Maple World! Cadena is the only survivor of Magnus’s attack on the Heliseum royal family.
    • You will begin your adventure as Cadena in the new area of Grandis, Savage Terminal. Savage Terminal is a back-alley town where mischief is common and shadowy characters gather. The notorious Shadowdealers have an outpost here.
    • Cadena was raised by the Shadowdealers and performs several missions in Savage Terminal.
    • Characters other than Cadena can go to Savage Terminal using Pantheon’s movement portal or a Hyper Teleport Rock.
    • Cadena has a streetwise edge and excels at close combat. She utilizes Thief equipment, and her main stat is Luck.
    • Her primary weapon is a Chain, and her secondary weapon is a Warp Forge.
    • Cadena has her own Emblems:

Striking horizontally only targets monsters, while striking vertically only targets platforms within a certain distance. While airborne you can strike downward to temporarily slow your descent. If the Skill key is pressed again while the chain is tethered, you will quickly move to the target location. When the chain is tethered and while moving with the skill, you become temporarily stealthed. Enemies struck by the skill are briefly slowed. Can be used while using other skills.     • Summon Scimitar: Summons a scimitar to instantly cut through enemies. Usable while airborne and with other skills. Max level: 20.

    • Shadowstep: Use mid-jump to jump a second time. The jump distance increases with the skill level. Max level: 5.

    • The Way of Shadows: Your training in the ways of the Shadowdealers has left you with a permanent boost to Avoidability and Speed. Max level: 10.
      • Level 10: Avoidability: +15\%, Speed: +20.
    • Uncanny Luck: Your hard life on the streets has left you with a certain wisdom that some might attribute to luck. Max level: 10.
      • Level 10: Permanently increases LUK by 50.

    • Summon Claw: Summons a claw weapon that strikes downward diagonally. Only usable while airborne. Can be used with other skills. Required Skill: Muscle Memory Lv. 1. Max level: 20.
      • Level 20: MP Cost: 20, Damage: 235\%, Max Enemies Hit: 10, Number of Attacks: 4, Cooldown: 3 seconds.
    • Summon Shuriken: Summons a spinning shuriken that explodes, maiming enemies and knocking them back. Required Skill: Muscle Memory Lv. 1. Max level: 19.

    • Apocalypse Cannon: Summons an ancient Nova Weapon reforged by the Shadowdealers. The cannon draws in energy, and eventually fires. Does not trigger Attack Reflection. Max level: 25.
      • Level 1: MP Cost 1000. The cannon gathers energy for 10 seconds, periodically inflicting 151\% damage 4 times to up to 8 enemies at set intervals. After amassing enough energy, it creates a supernova that deals 764\% damage 8 times to up to 15 enemies. Cooldown 25 seconds.

    Other Changes

    • We've reduced the amount of time required to complete the 5th Job Advancement.
    • You no longer need to wait in between charging Arcane Stones.
    • When you use Nodestones, you will now only receive Nodes your class can use.
    • The amount of EXP required to level up 5th Job skills has been adjusted.
    • The max level of Arcane Symbols has been increased to 20.
    Skill Revamps

    All Bowmen

    • Guided Arrow: Increased the duration, damage, cooldown, and number of attacks. Fixed an error where only half of the number of attacks were applied.
    Hero

    • Puncture: Reduced the amount of combo orbs consumed and increased damage amount when critical activates.
    • Enrage: Increased the critical damage amount.
    Paladin

    • Heaven's Hammer: Characters can no longer be knocked back while skill is in use.
    • Divine Echo: This skill has a new effect. Final damage is increased when this skill is echoed with a party member.
    • Hammers of the Righteous: Increased damage for created hammers is now a passive effect.
    Dark Knight

    • Spear of Darkness: Damage has been increased.
    Arch Mage (Fire, Poison)

    • Infinity: Increased the final damage amount.
    Arch Mage (Ice, Lightning)

    • Lightning Orb: Fixed an error where Lightning Orb's cooldown was applied when activated with Unreliable Memory.
    Bishop

    • Heaven's Door: Fixed and error where the Heavens Door's resurrection buff sometimes wasn't applied.
    • Angel of Balance: Status will now change immediately when Righteously Indignant is turned on/off. Number of attacks when using Righteously Indignant has been increased while the damage has been decreased.
    Bow Master

    • Hurricane: Reduced the amount of time it takes to move after activating the ability.
    Marksman

    • Net Toss: Cooldown has been increased and can be used to move backwards. The skill description has been edited to say 'slow' to fit the skill's new functions.
    • Snipe: Damage has been reduced while the number of attacks has been increased.
    • High Speed Shot: Damage has been reduced while the number of attacks has been increased.
    Shadower

    • Meso Explosion: Damage of the skill has been increased. Damage no longer increases based on the amount of mesos.
    • Assassinate: Reduced the damage and increased the number of attacks on the final hit.
    • Trickblade: Reduced the range of the attack when it's activated without a wound debuff present on an enemy.
    Dual Blade

    • Asura's Anger: You can now jump down while the skill is activated as well as pressing the skill key again to immediately cancel the ability.
    Corsair

    • Physical Training: An effect has been added that decreases the damage taken.
    • Rapid Fire: Damage has been increased.
    • Majestic Presence: Damage has been increased.
    • Brain Scrambler: Increased damage and number of attacks.

    Phantom

    • Piercing Vision: Increased final damage amount.

    • Ace in the Hole: Added function where the card will now attack the enemy with the highest MaxHP, excluding the previously attacked enemy. The card will also no long disappear if the targeted enemy vanishes before the skill connects, and will instead target another enemy nearby. If there is only one enemy the same enemy will be attacked for each hit.
    Luminous

    • Magic Mastery: Increased critical damage amount.
    • Armageddon: Added invincibility while skill is in use.
    Shade

    • Critical Insight: Added an effect where critical damage increases on an enemy with its HP under its standard value.

    Maple Achievements

    Requirement: Lv. 33 and above

    • Track your in-game progress with new Maple Achievements!
    • Begin by accepting the quest '[Required] Begin Maple Achievements' from the quest notifier on the left side of the screen. Once the quest is complete, the Maple Achievement system will be unlocked.
    • Maple Achievements can be accessed from the menu or by keybinding it using its quickslot button.
    • The Maple Achievement information is shared throughout the account regardless of world.
    • Maple Achievements are organized into multiple categories. While some categories are currently empty, more achievements will be added in the future and the system will grow over time.
    • Categories include Level Up, Job, Item, Adventure, Battle, Social, and Event.
    • Completing an achievement will grant you Achievement Points. Each achievement can give a varying amount of points (between 10 and 100, depending on the difficulty).
    • Your total number of Achievement Points determines your Achievement Rank. This also grants you an Achievement Insignia.
    • Players can pick which insignia they want to use and display their insignia to others by using the Maple Crest skill which automatically unlocks with the Maple Achievement system.
    • Achievement Ranks:
      • Bronze: 10 - 4,999 points
      • Silver: 5,000 - 19,999 points
      • Gold: 20,000 - 29,999 points
      • Platinum: 30,000 - 35,999 points
      • Diamond: 36,000+ points
      • Master: Top 100 ranks
    • The Achievement Ranking system is based on Achievement Points and will be updated every Monday. Please note the Achievement Ranking system will be unlocked in a future update.
    • Achievements can be tracked under the achievement notifier by clicking the star icon on the achievement. Up to five achievements can be tracked using the achievement notifier.
    • Some achievements may even give rewards once they are completed.
    • Achievements which can no longer be completed will be moved automatically to the Memory category.
    Spirit Savior

    • A new dungeon has been added to Arcana: Spirit Savior!
    • In Spirit Savior, you need to save as many trapped Rock Spirits as possible within the time limit. At the same time, you also need to avoid the Toxic Stalker that appears.
    • Characters who have completed the 'The Harmony of the Forest' quest can enter the Spirit Savior map by talking to the Escaped Rock Spirit in the Grove of the Spirit Tree map.
    • After destroying a trap holding a Rock Spirit, press the NPC Chat key and the spirit will begin to accompany you.
    • If you bring the Rock Spirit to the center of the map safely, you will receive Rescue Points based on the number of spirits saved up to 2,500 points (5 spirits) at a time.
    • When you first enter the dungeon, you are given a set amount of defense. If you are hit by monsters, your defense points will decrease, If it hits 0, you will drop all Rock Spirits that are accompanying you.     A Better Maple

    • We’re always trying to make a Better Maple, and we’re focusing on several areas in this update!
      • When certain Use items with the same expiration date are given out (such as Occult Cubes and EXP Coupons from a daily gift), they are consolidated into one slot.
      • An extra confirmation screen has been added when throwing away a chair.
      • For titles you've owned previously, you can now pay a fixed meso fee and have the title reissued. Speak to the following NPCs to reissue your titles.

      • A notification window is displayed when you try to register a skill that can't be registered in pet auto buff and skill macros.
      • You will be able to register your pet's auto buffs with useful skills you obtain from Hyper buff skills and Item Potential skills that have no cooldown.
      • A pop-up notification is displayed when the maximum number of Maple Legion Coins have been accumulated.
      • When the client is closed, the Soul Weapon UI's on/off status will be saved.
      • At the Mu Lung Point Shop, you can recharge your Throwing Stars and Bullets.
      • The maximum count of Crystals and Crystal Ores that can go into one slot is increased from 100 to 3,000.
      • Medals will now be instantly registered in your collection after acquiring them.
      • You can now redeem multiple Nodestones that are registered to a hotkey without having to wait for the previous Nodestone opening animation to finish.
      • On the character select window, it will now show you the number of used and available character slots for 5 seconds after logging in. It can be viewed again by clicking the server button in the top-right corner.
      • On the character select window, the number of character pages will now be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
      • The functionality to make your pet invisible using the Skill Effect Transparency slider is coming back. You can adjust this by going to Options > Graphics > Effects > Skill Effect Transparency. This only works on your own pets, not those of other players.
    Boss Reward Changes

    • You will now receive meso rewards based on the difficulty of a boss.
    • When you defeat a boss, you will receive an Intense Power Crystal. The Intense Power Crystal is a time-limited ETC item. Its value is based on the difficulty of the boss that was defeated and the size of the part. In Reboot world, the value will be even higher (3x as much).
      • You can sell the Crystal to the Collector in the Free Market to receive mesos equal to its value. The Collector will only buy 60 Crystals per week.
    • Existing potion rewards (except Elixirs and Power Elixirs) and mesos have been removed from boss rewards. The drop rate of Elixirs and Power Elixirs has been adjusted.
    • Rewards have been added to the top level difficulty bosses. Absolabs equipment, which could be purchased from coin shops, has been added as rewards from Hard Lotus and Hard Damien.
      • Arcane Umbra equipment, which could be purchased from the coin shop, has been added as rewards from Hard Lucid.
      • Drop rate-increasing effects will not apply to Absolabs equipment or Arcane Shade equipment.

    • During the event period, log in and click the gift box icon on the left side of the screen to receive a Gift Box, and then double-click the box in your inventory to open it.
    • The Gift Box can be obtained once in a 24-hour period every day between the hours of 4:00 PM PST / 7:00 PM EST / 1:00 AM CET / 11:00 AM AEDT, and 3:59 PM PST / 6:59 PM EST / 12:59 AM CET / 10:59 AM AEDT.

    Zero Character Creation

    • Zero will be available for creation for a limited time.
    • You must have a character that is Lv. 100 or above in the same world that you wish to create a Zero character.

    Cryojet Mount

    UTC: November 29 (after maintenance) – January 2 at 11:59 PM

    Requirement: Lv. 33 and above (Zero character that completed Story Quest Act 2).

    • Board the Cryojet in non-Reboot worlds to show off how generous you are!
    • Accept the quest '[Nova] It's Snowing Mesos on Your Cryojet Mount!' from NPC Kemdi to board the Cryojet in Henesys or Leafre.
    • You need to pay 300,000,000 mesos to board. The mount will scatter 200,000,000 mesos to everyone in the channel in which you boarded the Cryojet.
    • Players will have 30 seconds to get to the channel where the Cryojet is about to start scattering mesos. Only players (not pets) can pick up the mesos scattered by the Cryojet.
    • Pressing the spacebar key will display an effect and scatter the mesos even faster!
    • Only 1 player can board the Cryojet in each town per channel. A total 6 players can board the mount at the same in each world.
    • Players who have boarded the Cryojet cannot perform any of the following while they are mounted: Use portals, Auction House, Meso Market, Cash Shop, trade, Monster Life, or change channels.
    • Players must wait 10 minutes before boarding again.
    Rewards:

    • Mesos
    • Players who scatter mesos are given the Meso Fountain Chair! When you sit on it, it will show the total amount of mesos that you have shared with other people using the Cryojet. This chair cannot be obtained again if you already have one.
    Dragon Pop

    Requirement: Lv. 33 and above (Zero character that completed Story Quest Act 2).

    • Gain EXP and Nova Coins by creating Dragon Pops!
    • Accumulate 100 Dragon Energy by staying in specific towns and hunting monsters*within your level range (20 levels below and 20 levels above) to obtain Snowman Dolls and Dragon Dolls.
    • Dragon Dolls get you 10 Dragon Energy and Snowman Dolls get you 50 Dragon Energy when the items are picked up.
    • There is also a chance that you will be given the Dragon Pop Headband, a Hat equipment cover!
    • You can collect up to 10,000 Dragon Energy per day which means you can make 100 Dragon Pops (which are tradeable).

    How about gamebreaking "bug fixes" and intended updates?

    Reboot (and the subreddit) is going crazy over the fix to non-KMS maps, which now adhere to the same drop penalties as other maps. They can no longer farm meso at Ghost Ship, Ulu, or the last remaining instanced training "mini-dungeon", Bye-Bye Station (Malaysia theme park), where monsters are easy to kill (relative to normal Reboot mobs that have high HP) and drop a lot of meso (way more than KMS mobs of any level). Add that to the boss drop and entry nerfs, and you can see how progressing in Reboot (which relies on meso) has been slowed down considerably.

    Not only did mobs drop a arcane river area value of meso but they dropped 2 bags at a time as well. The combination of low hp values made it a prime farming spot for the longest time. It seems they just want to kill any attempt at new people wanting to gear up in Reboot.

    Well, aside from that, it's everywhere now, last time there was skills not working(I/L's Ice Age and Corsair's Ship).

    Honestly they should've done the change to non kms maps sooner. It's not that I have a grudge against reboot but more against all the bots.

    Sadly my plans for legion are kinda crushed. Only 40 characters can be registered to Legion levels, guess I have to get 8000 the hard way.

    Papulatus got the rework but every time I die and respawn my character gets locked out of doing any attacks so I have to leave.
