Have you been dreaming of another world? From September 19 - October 3, you can move your characters from one world to another!

As long as your character is Lv. 33 or above before the event begins on September 19, they will be eligible to move to a new world. Please note that characters cannot move to or from Reboot and Luna. Characters cannot move to Scania or Windia, but characters from Scania and Windia can move to other worlds.

Here’s how it works:

Log in to the game and talk to NPC Mover (located in Henesys, Leafre, Haven, Chu Chu Village, and Sleepywood) to get started.

Select ‘I want to move this character’.

The Maple Administrator will ask you to read to some important information first. Click “Yes”.

You will be shown the list of basic rules and restrictions. Read through them, and click “Next”.

You will be asked again if you really want to move your character. If you are sure you want to transfer, click “Yes”.

Now you can select your new world! Only four worlds will be displayed. For merged worlds, only the main world will be displayed as an option. For example, if you wish to move to Broa/Khaini, you can only select Broa. Select your world and click “Next”.

Here are the main worlds that are open for new residents in this World Leap event:

• Bera
• Broa - BK
• Bellocan - MYBCKN
• Demethos - GRAZED

You will be asked if you are sure you want to go to this world. If you want to go back and pick a different world, click “Cancel”. If you’re ready to move, click “Ok”!

After selecting your desired world, you will be automatically disconnected from the game, where you will see messaging letting you know the transfer was completed.

Log back in to the world you selected, and you will find your character in the new world!

FAQ

Can I move any of my characters?

There are a few restrictions:

• Characters below Lv. 33, or Zero characters that have not yet completed up to Chapter 2, at the start of the event (UTC: 12:00 AM September 20) cannot move to a new world.
• You will not be able to move a character if you have the max number of characters (40) on the desired world. You will need to delete and make room for one before you move. Characters can be moved even if you do not have an empty character slot in the world you wish to move to.
• Characters who are Legion members cannot move to a new world.
• Characters can only move to a new world once.

Do I have to take care of anything before moving my character?

If your character has strong ties to their current world, they will not be eligible to move to a new world until you take care of unfinished business.

• Players belonging to a guild or alliance must leave the guild or alliance before transferring. Guild leaders must transfer ownership of the guild and leave the guild before transferring.
• Married players can transfer 24 hours after filing the divorce application.
• Crush Rings and Friendship Rings must be deleted before transferring. Talk to the Mover NPC and select the 'Delete Crush Ring and Friendship Ring' option to delete the items.
• If you have NX/mesos registered for trade in the Meso Market, you must cancel the trades before you will be able to transfer.
• If you have items in the process of being traded through the Hired Merchant or Auction House, you must cancel the trades and recover the items before you will be able to transfer.
• If you have items in storage with NPC Fredrick you must pick-up your items before you will be able to transfer.

Can I move my character into any world at all?

• Characters cannot move to Scania or Windia, but characters from Scania and Windia can move to other worlds.
• Characters cannot move to or from Reboot and Luna.
• All other worlds are open. For merged worlds, only the main world will be displayed as an option.

Can I cancel my character’s move if I change my mind?

The World Leap request cannot be canceled once it has been made as it happens instantly once you have selected the new world. Please think carefully when making your decision to move a character.

Will all of my character’s information move too?

Here is a detailed list of what will and will not move with your character during the World Leap event:

Character:

• Your character's look and appearance will be transferred.
  
  • Face, Hair, and Skin Color
  • Beauty Album
• General character information will be transferred.
  
  • Name, Gender, Level, Job
  • STR/DEX/INT/LUK, MaxHP/MaxMP, AP/SP, EXP
  • Traits, Popularity, Mesos
  • Equipment Slot Bypass Key information
  • Profession (including Profession Fatigue)
  • Item Cooldown, Soul Collection, V Matrix, Arcane Symbol

Skills:*

• Character skills will be transferred (including cooldown).
• Phantom Skill Swipe information will be transferred.
• Link Skill information will*NOT*be transferred.

Cash Items:

• Cash Items in your character's inventory will be transferred.
• Cash Items in your Cash Inventory will*NOT*be transferred.
• If you have items that you need to retrieve from the Cash Shop before you move your character, you must visit the Cash Shop and receive the items first.

Items:

• Equipped items will be transferred.
• All items in the character's inventory will be transferred (Equip, Use, Etc, Set-up, Cash, Meso).
• Inventory Slot Expansions will be transferred.
• Bags will be transferred.
• Item Pots will be transferred.
• Bit-Cases will be transferred.
• Evolution Cores will be transferred.
• Androids will be transferred.
• Familiars will be transferred.
• Monster book information will be transferred.
• Items being exchanged will NOT be transferred.
• Items in the process of being traded through Hired Merchant or Auction House will NOT be transferred. Be sure to recover all outstanding items before deciding to move your character.
• Items in storage with NPC Fredrick will NOT be transferred with the character. Be sure to pick-up your items before deciding to move your character.
• Items in your Storage Room will NOT be transferred with the character.
• Items that have not been received from the gift box notifier on the left-side of the screen will NOT be transferred with the character. Be sure to pick-up your items before deciding to move your character.

Quests & Achievements:

• Quests in Progress will be transferred.
• Completed Quests will be transferred.
• Account Shared Quest information will NOT be transferred.
• Medals earned from NPC Dalair's quests will NOT be transferred.
• Periodically renewed information such as Mu Lung rankings, Donation King, and Tower of Oz information will NOT be transferred.

Guilds & Alliances:

• Players belonging to a guild or alliance must leave the guild or alliance before transferring.
• Guild leaders must transfer ownership of the guild and leave the guild before transferring.

Marriage:

• Married players can transfer 24 hours after filing the divorce application.

Ah, Nexon.

As long as your character is Lv. 33 or above before the event begins on September 19, they will be eligible to move to a new world.

But then the in-game NPCs say that characters created after September 13 can't leap.


Turns out quite a few people created "leap mules" over the last week, for things like inter-world trade or carrying hundreds of cash items (since Cash Storage doesn't transfer), and can't Leap them.

Nexon's copy-paste bots are positively heartbroken over being unable to help



This is in addition to going back on Artasi's old promise of allowing leaps into non-"main" worlds of alliances, and getting the community incensed over the exclusion of Windia. Excellent event.

[Update September 22] We’re reviewing the concerns of Maplers unable to world leap due to the discrepancy of dates provided on the website and in-game event details.
