Default Does some stats scale better than others?

Ok so my friend was saying how Dex is the worst in scaling and how Luk scale better than Str which scale better than Dex, is this even real? I have no idea how this is even possible today, classes have so many variables to scale that saying the base Stat make them stronger than other job is completely triggering me

It depends mainly on your weapon multiplier, Crossbow's have a 1.35 multiplier, I think cannons have a 1.6 so they scale really well. Honestly archer weapons are very equal to many other classes.

Do you have a list of multipliers of all weapons, but does it matter anyway(since now classes have other multiplers to scale)?

Does the Weapon multipler make certain jobs scale better or it's just diferent because each job have diferent variables?

  7. Default Re: Does some stats scale better than others?

It can.. depends on what nexon gave the class to balance it to other jobs, some jobs have over 50% damage, some have massive attack on their weapons and final damage, it's incredibly situational.

stats by themselves don't "scale", but as fod said, the main difference lies in weapons, which multiply your stats.

an example is warriors, one handed swords multiply your stats by 1.2, while a polearm does by 1.49. (numbers may be off nowadays but you get the point.

so 2 warriors with the same stats but different weapons will have different range, even if their str is the same. so yeah, different weapons increase the effectiveness of your stats.

Interesting, but does it effect the late game of certain jobs or we need look more at the %final dmg and other things(like %crit dmg) when seeying the late game?

The multipliers are supposed to be in correlation to attack speed.

Roughly, your true damage is given by:

DPS = [STAT] * [%STAT] * [Weapon Multiplier] * ATT * [%ATT] * [Skill Damage %] * [Number of hits from skill] * [Skill delay (how fast your skill/attack repeats)] * [Monster PDR after your PDRIgnore] * [Any other modifiers e.g. %Boss]

Left unsaid is that DPS is directly correlated to your EXP gain and loot so the unsaid "most godly" modifier is %EXP, as well as %Drop and %Meso.
