It was partly because I was panicking a lot about losing 10% HP per second. I flashed jumped into several meteors just trying to get away from that. But this was only my first attempt since they added the DoT, so, with practice, will come improvement.

Oh.. I did hard magnus solo on Wednesday after the patch, I killed it a bit faster than you did and didn't get any coins or capes. So I just wanted to see if I held back and waited for the timer to pass 15 minutes if it would change, I'm just going to assume it won't make a difference.

I know i'm not Kobe, but look this video he posted, it seens brutal, he didn't even finish dojo to make even more difficult(and still used his 5job skill that helps good Drks).

When 5th job came out, I was around level 191 hitting around 5m on bosses like RA, Hilla, and Magnus. With completing cores, arcane symbols, and upgrading some of my gear (i've doubled my range since 2 months ago through gear, arcane symbols included) and getting decent SE gloves i was able to boost my damage up to ~28m on chaos vellum, which was enough for me to kill him.

and yea, the video that Ivangold posted is a pretty good examples of what cores and arcane symbols did to my damage.

5th is such a good thing for me. Just being able to log in and do something other than redeeming monster exploration and daily bosses is pretty swell.

It's basically a "free" 8% increase in damage, and it's a toggle skill (CD really only applies if you die or enter a map that wipes buffs). I've been trying to get this skill, but drop rate for nodestones is really low sigh. And DSI is so important for Lumis...
