    I kind of doubt it, considering the lag is caused by Gaga, Cassandra, and Maple Admin, unless they decide to fix those 3.

    That's actually inaccurate, since the entire reason Event Hall was created was to separate those 3 aforementioned NPCs from major towns due to them causing a lot of lag. After they were removed from towns, the lag was gone from those towns. Plus, there are maps with a lot of NPCs that don't have this issue (Leafre comes to mind).

    As far as I know, the major lag caused by those 3 NPCs themselves was fixed, but some lag still remains for event NPCs in general, which adds up. See the videos that guy provided in that Reddit post and compare the lag between having the NPCs in the map and having them removed.

    Normal NPCs don't create lag, but event NPCs do. If I remember correctly, it was something about the NPCs having to refresh every frame or something?

    We'll see once the patch rolls around though.

    A better way for that guy to test it is to not remove all NPCs from the map, but certain ones. But honestly, I hope it does make a difference in some way, as I'm sick of lagging like crap in the event hall.

    Err.. what? It wasn't even scheduled to end for another hour - Fairly odd of them to pre-emptively extend it. Do they have their time zones mixed up?

    I wonder whether it will be extended past midnight UTC, and if so will we get a free attendance stamp for the attendance that is stupidly starting today.

    Yeah I don't think they fixed this. I've heard rumors of someone logging in only to go to event hall and lag still.

    So, now there's an annoying message that pops up in chat whenever someone you know logs in (buddies, guild, alliance), I'm wondering if this is debug text they left in for some reason.

    They added the anti-afk mobs to Arcane River, and they pot lock you.

    The change character button now takes you back to character select, even if you've logged in through Game Launcher.

    Any other undocumented changes?

    They also fixed the overlapping text in the Monster Collection Exploration Tab and updated the UI a bit.
