- From here, speak to Moco to access the UI and begin Act 4.
- The World Tree has been contaminated due to Damien going berserk after stealing the Transcendence Stone from the Heroes! In this chapter, you can select two Heroes to help Evan climb the contaminated World Tree and fight to defeat Damien once and for all.

Requirements: Lv. 190 and above. Completed Act 4 of Heroes of Maple.
- Note: Players will not be able to fight Damien until after the August 3 maintenance.
- Reach the top of the Dark World Tree to fight Damien once more! Damien can also be selected from the Boss Matchmaking UI.
- During the battle, Damien will focus on different party members at random intervals. When this happens, the majority of Damien's Branding attacks and lock-on attacks will be focused on that player. The player that is focused on will be one of the following:
- Whoever is doing the most damage.
- Whoever is least Branded.
- Whoever is most Branded.
- A random player.
- Damien can be fought once per day and defeated once per week.
- Important details:
- Normal Mode HP: 1.2 Trillion. (Phase 1 and Phase 2). Defense Rate: 250.
- Hard Mode HP: 36 Trillion (Phase 1 and Phase 2). Defense Rate: 250.
- Max Brand Stack on a player: 7. If the Brand Stack reaches 7, it will explode and kill the player. One Brand is given when you are hit by all attacks from Damien's main body. Remove the Brands by holding the space bar on the shrine that appears during the battle.
- Potion cooldown: 5 seconds. Death count: 10.
Phase 1:
- Called Shot: Damien will charge for a short amount of time before releasing an eviscerating sword attack!
- Area Strike: Damien will summon geysers of dark magic that damage you if you stand in them.
- Teleport: Damien will teleport around the map.
- Blink: Damien will perform a lightning fast sword attack to damage players in front of him.
Phase 2:
- Rush: Damien will rush forward and attack anything in his path!
- Blink Blade: Damien will slash forward 3 times with his sword, creating sword scars in the air that will explode after a short time.
- Fireball Barrage: Damien will encircle himself in a deadly tornado while he shoots fireballs horizontally in both directions.
- Atrophy: Damien will create a zone where players will gradually lose HP, potions and other consumables will be less effective, and Damien himself will take less damage.
Phase 1 and Phase 2:
- Homing Blade: Damien's blade will fly around the map in varying patterns damaging any who get in its way!
- Fixation: Damien's blade will lock on to a single player and attack!
- Blade Pulse: Damien's blade will stick into the ground and pulsate, massively damaging any player within its range.
- Meteor: Damien will fly up into the sky and rain down fireballs imbued with dark magic that does insane damage!
- Branding: Damien will mark opponents with his Brand.
- Petrify: Damien summons blue orbs of dark energy that will grab the player and hold them down, petrifying them! Correctly input the series of button commands displayed on the screen to break free.
- Purification Ritual: Hold space bar on the shrine that appears to clear yourself of any Brands!
- Divebomb: Damien will fly up into the sky and come crashing down at high speed to damage players around him.

- Note: Players will not be able to access the Dark World Tree area until after the August 3 maintenance.
- After the untimely fall of their leader, Damien, and the subsequent vanquishing of the demonic spirit, the Demon Army has fallen to ruins. However, small amounts of the demonic spirit have survived and have taken over some of the soldiers of the Demon Army, causing them to rise up and fight once more!
- The de facto leader Alchetto has sent those who are still untainted back to Tynerum to begin anew and is requesting help from adventurers in clearing the World Tree of the remaining Demon Soldiers.
- Accept the quest 'Those Who Remained' from the quest notifier on the left side of the screen to begin. Alternatively, travel to the Deserted Camp via a portal in the Humid Swamp map in Sleepywood, and speak to Alchetto.
- Partake in three daily quests to clear the three different tiers of the Dark World Tree. The higher up in the tree you are, the more difficult the monsters are!
- Complete these daily quests and hunt monsters to earn Faint Stigma Spirit Stones.
- Reach the top of the Dark World Tree to fight Damien again! Defeating the boss will earn you a Twisted Stigma Spirit Stone.
- These stones can be exchanged for Stigma Coins by speaking to Quartermaster Sakaro. Use Stigma Coins to purchase Absolab Weapons and Armor from Supplier Salio.

Burning Project
August 17 - September 6
Requirements: Once per account. Lv. 149 or below.
Zero characters cannot use Burning Effect.
Blaster characters cannot use the Burning Effect.
Resistance characters who have received the Burning Effect will not be able to Job Advance to the Blaster class.
- For this summer, we've temporarily raised the level for the Burning Effect to last until level 150!
- Characters in Reboot world, as well as Kinesis characters, can participate in this occurrence of the Burning Project!
- Select a character in the Character Selection screen to have the "Burning" effect.
- Use the Burning Effect on one of the characters on your account to gain two extra levels for each level you gain.
- Only one character per world is able to participate at a time.
- The Burning Effect begins to work on your character after level 10.
- If a character with the Burning Effect is deleted, you will be able to place the effect on another character.
- Select the event quest 'The Burning Project!' in the star event notifier on the left side of the screen with your Burning character to receive the following rewards.
