    I'd like to find out how they will work around the fact that they pineappleed up the mythos by saying that the five heroes created a time seal preventing anyone from going back in time before the sealing of the Black Mage, which without explanation would be a massive plothole because Masteria fell hundreds of years before then, so traveling back to that time shouldn't be possible.

    I was so looking forward to the Masteria update before this reveal that it's a blockbuster. Don't get me wrong, I greatly enjoy doing blockbusters, it works well as narrative content, I guess, but they're generally isolated from the rest of the game, like with Black Heaven and Heroes of Maple, it's through some NPC/Portal in the conference hall, and you can't experience it with other people. It's not bad, it's just not the direction I was hoping they'd go with for Masteria, I just want good, old fashioned quests and new areas to explore. It's true that this doesn't necessarily mean we won't get that, but we probably aren't going to. Judging from the other blockbusters, we'll get little more than a new area that serves as little more than a training ground and a new boss.

    It might be better than I expected, but for now, I'm rather disappointed with how things are turning out with Masteria.

    It's in the Jett tutorial, but I don't think that's where I know it from.

    Well crap. Nexon actually managed to do the impossible. I got mildly interested. Now all I have to do is resist the urge to play until the inevitable lackluster reveal.

    It's pretty cool that they are still willing to work on Masteria even after all this time. But given previous efforts I won't expect too much. The premise sounds good though.

    Overall it seems like a nice patch.

    Man, I always loved the old Masteria storyline and am really glad that Nexon decided to expand on it!

    NXProse told me (and I think combattente?) that the original story flow was going to be:
    The Polis of Krakia>Temple of the Elementals>The Realm of Versal>The Shadow of Versal


    If this is any different (which looks 100% guaranteed to be), then it won't be as epic as was originally intended.

    I'm keeping my hopes low for this one.

    It's been way too many years (7 years) since a real Masteria expansion.
    Anything new at this point, unless under the helm of NxProse and his colleagues that worked on Masteria would be entirely different and written by completely new people with a new fresh set of eyes.

    I don't think we'll ever see the Masteria that was meant to be. I do hope, however, that whoever is in charge of this new Masteria does the old one justice and keeps whatever is canon, canon and build it up from there.

    This is honestly so much type! Holy crap!!! This is so cool!!!Though I hope the acts don't mean we can only go to these maps then. I hope that in act 4 it will open up the maps. It seems like it might.

    It's fucked, unless by some miracle kthxbainao was well-learned on the subject.
