I thought the most commonly accepted explanation was that the introduction of 4th job turned spearmen from the fastest leveling job in the game to one of the slowest, so people started passing him and he couldn't really do anything about it. He just decided to quit at that point.

I don't understand how that is an explanation when fangblade was also a spearman, what? Justin's right though, his dad committed suicide, he had a nasty break up with his girlfriend, and people smega harassed him until he quit.

Yeah, she was awesome. I still read her old blog from time to time when I have a nostalgia overdose (Iangelial.wordpress.com in wayback machine since it's deleted now.)
