I was wondering if anyone has one of those who wants to share.
I want to watch some retro anime but that you could consider good.
Here's an example:

Here's an example:
G-Gundam counts as retro now, right? 20 years old.
G-Gundam is relatively old, as @MuscleWizard; said it's 20 years old, so i'm not sure what you mean with newer ones? I'm not aware of any new entries directly related to G-Gundam?
Not sure if that's retro though.
hajime no ippo (2000)
yu yu hakusho (1992)
first one is somewhat new as an anime but has that old school style, it's pretty much dragonball: boxing edition.
second one i loved as a kid but the later arcs get worse imho.
rurouni kenshin (duh)
oh, and i enjoyed tekkaman blade, but honestly i don't think any of these is much of a hidden gem.
Wouldn't it have been better to put this in the anime forum instead of the one dedicated to spamming, assuming you wanted srs responses(not that any of the above aren't serious)?
And Shinku, is it weird that I hated the pomegranate out of Rurouni Kenshin? It got so repetitive and boring, I'd be alright with it's formula for say, 24 episodes, but not 95. x_x
Legend of the Galactic Heros?
Does the original Dragonball count? like the pre Z one? Completely different tone to Z
I should really watch Legends of the Galactic Heroes.
If retro includes Toonami, it's gotta be Outlaw Star
I suppose I could toss in a few series that I managed to watch over the years. I'll likely be jumping all over the place with my own choices, given the age.
Dairugger XV, Ranma 1/2, Key the Metal Idol, Bubblegum Crisis (either original or Tokyo 2040), Sailor Moon (might want to consider the newer dub release), Mahou Shoujou Pretty Sammy (or anything in the Tenchi Muyo universe), Astroboy (a.k.a Tetsuwan Atom), Black Jack, Thunderbirds 2086 (a.k.a TechnoVoyager), Macross and Giant Robo.
As for Astroboy, that would also depend on which dub you are looking at as well. The one during the 1980s had several that I'm aware of. The raw Japanese and several in English. I would say I'm more biased towards the Cinelume dub, being it was what I grew up with.
Sure it is a huge list, but then again there are more series that you could find over time. While not a compete list of what I have seen, it is likely just a fraction of what I have seen and watched over the years.
