stopped reading here. thanks nexon :<
Wait why is Quebec excluded? I'm so confused
*Casually submits story about Stephen and I*
Its my understanding that Quebec have different laws from Canada when it comes to contests.
10% of the prizes must be paid to Quebec's sweepstakes commission to even have the contest and they must be notified 30 days before the contests starts.
dont worry if you were involved in the last mass accidental banwave you aren't allowed to do this anyways.
any name that nexon deems 'offensive' cannot win either.
but 40 winners out of a million? those odds are uncalculateable!
Just about the same chances with cubing
I swear we've had this contest before.
They should hold a "1 million dislikes" contest.
But that'd be too easy haha
noo, only those listed territories
though if there were no ipad air, probably they would allow everyone in the global area to enter.
but the annoying thing is you have to actually like them and post your story on their site. probably you will also have to have opened your account with your real email or linked it to your lamebook account. wouldn't have entered anyway.
also fancy costume probably means you have to spend heaps of money to have a chance.
EDIT: also for people who have been banned, they should provide a way of forgiving you and striking your ban record. a random ban can prevent you from participating in many of these glorious events lolol
EDIT 2: I'd rather have had the 2exp/drop event.
Quebec has local laws that require these types of things to be bilingual. If the contest isn't in both French and English, it is not allowed. That means that all entrants to the contest would have to be submitted in both languages. I am all for preserving French, but they cross the line here. There are tons of video games you cannot buy in Quebec because they aren't bi-lingual. Then you have the whole regional contest board that requires all contests to give part of their benefits to the commission. No company wants to give away money to them, so they simply exclude them.
wow they are now over 1million likes. wow that was fast, and they really have done nothing except spent $599 on the junkpad. they probably spent more on the drafting on the conditions of the competition
so i guess that means no 2exp/drop, no maple point giveaway or any sort of exciting events. maybe a 1million chair or something?
I am very sad that we did not even get a 2exp drop out of this
I was chosen as one of the 39 winners, yay! Actually pretty surprised.
I spy a 'Princess Mononoke' fan amongst the winners.
What are the chances that their parents just named him Apomegranateaka and they already had the surname?
I suppose that's likely but.. ashi'taka is a very old name (if it even exists). The current trend for Japanese parents are to name their child in English but able to sound Japanese at the same time or bind kanji characters to it.
e.g. Kylie - Kairi
