People tell me I'm one of the wisest citizens in Carderock Pass. Adventurers far and wide are always coming to me for advice... and for armor enhancements, of course. You won't find a better enhancement in town- Korin's Trademark Super Enhancements can't be beat!
Since I'm apparently so wise, I thought I should tell you about the New Players Forum. Altera can be a pretty scary place for newcomers, what with all the orcs, goblins, kobolds, and the horror that is May's Super Slop (she almost killed my poochum dang it!). If you're feeling overwhelmed, the New Players Forum is a great place to get started. It's chock full of good stuff, like quick tips, helpful game guides and even suggestions on how to protect your account from fraud. It's a fantastic resource; I really wish it existed when I was your age. Back in my day, there was no one to give whippersnappers advice. You had to venture out on your own with nothing but the skin on your back! Kids these days...
Speaking of kids, King Cassius may be young but he loves to hear from his loyal subjects. If you have an idea on how to improve the kingdom then you should check out the Suggestions Forum. You can suggest anything from gameplay improvements to ideas you have for quests and stories. We love hearing from you, so hit the forums!
As a craftsman, I feel obligated to give a shout out to one of Altera's freshest art shops. Rammmm is new to the art shop game, but is off to a great start. He's offering portraits for free, so send him a request if you're looking to immortalize your favorite adventurer. Take a look at some of his work:
It may be a black and white sketch, but I don't know if I've seen a portrait that captures the spirit of an Alteran so perfectly in all my years as a part-time art critic... er, I mean blacksmith. Yes. I am nothing more than a humble blacksmith and poochum enthusiast, *cough,* *cough.*
That's it for this month, my friends. Check back next time for more great community content. I'm not confident someone as daft as David will survive on the open seas, so I am your community updater for the foreseeable future. I relish the position.
** Now if you'll excuse me, I need to feed Poochoccio.
