    Nexon posted a patch for GMS version 144 upgrade to version 145.
    You may download this patch from their official site and begin creating your pre-patcher now.
    Extractions and database updates will be forthcoming (if supported)!

    idunno, it's 200mb. How big could the beast tamer video be? I'm guessing maybe 30MB?

    anyway I really wish Nexon would stop making magician classes new classes

    Warrior classes are the worst offender by far.

    at least having a lot of mage classes makes sense, they are the only class archetype that uses Magic Attack, as opposed to the 4 others that all use Weapon Attack. I'm not saying they should be equal though, of course.

    The sheer amount of Warrior classes is unreasonable though. It's kinda like they are using Warrior as the catch-all Weapon Attack class and Mages as the catch-all Magic Attack classes and making them super generic, rather than spreading them out over the 5 classes.

    I'd like to see more Archers.. I imagine it's difficult to come up with interesting ideas for bowmen though. I'm fully expecting more Demons if they expand Masteria though, could easily have Demon-based Explorer type classes, with split branches for different types of each, but all with the dark attack themes. Mage/Archer hybrid is also something I'd be surprised if they don't implement at some point, but DEX/INT would be kind of stupid. They could make it so that you focus on one stat and your attack animations reflect if you're more heavily based toward DEX or INT.

    ...though honestly MapleStory has plenty of classes now already. Maybe if they'd finish Cygnus/Nova/Resistance (I WANT A REAL THIEF)/Sengoku they could stop, but I think that is unlikely.

    Its pretty easy to design warrior weapons though, just take any shape and give it sharp or blunt edges and add a handle. (For Mages just take a stick/staff and add decorations). It would be interesting to see a different class that uses INT, or a new class type.

    Need more archer classes.

    I guess pirates would come in as a close second to warriors, right?

    At this point, the class archetypes have become pretty much arbitrary. Classes are designed with their archetypes as an afterthought, rather than the defining characteristic. And, partly due to that, we are severely lacking in thieves.
    But then what would even be the point of a thief nowadays? What do thieves specifically have to offer? Ever since every class ever got buffed with crazy high mobility, what's really so special about thieves? What makes them unique?

    I think they started a good idea with Phantom, with the idea of stealing buffs from bosses, but it's a shame they forgot about those themes for the other thief classes. It would be great if each different class had a different role. Thieves would debuff bosses, Mages would support the party, Warriors and Archers would attack in different ways and Pirates would be a jack-of-all-trades that does a bit of everything.

    Unfortunately though, I doubt Maple would go in that direction. especially now, where it would hard to bring all the available classes in line with those "roles".

    That or they released it by accident, it's happened before. And it isn't like it's been put on the main maple site either, they don't intend for us to download it yet.

    I would be very interested in playing a demon archer. While I get that it is hard to come up with new concepts besides 'shoot bow, shoot crossbow,' I think a demon archer could bring a new dimension to a pretty underplayed job.

    Yeah, there's not a lot of room for different kinds of archers. Maybe some kind of hunter with a slingshot or a boomerang or something but even that isn't very... archery.

    I've been pitching an idea of a Third Explorer Archer with a prototype mobile Ballista. The idea was that your player would be a representative of an upcoming branch to bring light to your clan and to convince Helena to join the Archer ranks and to aid against the fight on the Black Mage

    I'm going to guess they took it down for good reason like they were missing something or the patch was probably corrupt. So even if someone had the patch file it might have not worked regardless.
