Please be aware that we are actively working to help any and all players sill experiencing HackShield issues. If you are continuing to experience difficulty, please contact us via
Customer Support ticket so that we can work with you on pinpointing a solution.
[UPDATE II]
We are aware that some players have been reporting crashing issues and error messages relating to HackShield (
link) as of this afternoon, January 8th. Unfortunately, this was due to an internal error: some files were accidentally updated by our automated system while engineers prepared a unified update. As a result, some players experienced an incomplete, non-functioning update.
To mitigate this, our team is updating Hackshield to v.424, an updated build which will solve issues experienced by users on Windows 7 64 bit. This will be done
without a maintenance or any server down time.*
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and ask that you continue to keep us updated on your issues and concerns in the forum thread listed below.

An unscheduled maintenance on January 6, 2014 should help resolve issues users are experiencing difficulty with HackShield on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.*
We are aware that there are still issues with users on Windows Vista Home Basic and Windows Vista Premium. This remains an open issue for our team, so please continue to post information and help our GMs in the official forum thread listed below.

We understand a number of you are still experiencing disconnects and other issues related to HackShield. First and foremost we would like to apologize for the inconvenience and reassure you that addressing this problem is a top priority for our team.*
It seems that a large number of players still being affected are running windows 8 or 8.1 and that a recent Windows Update may have conflicted with the HackShield software. The good news is that we have been hard at work on a fix which has recently been pushed live.
Players who currently have the game installed will have their HackShield automatically updated. This patch will update HackShield to version 407 and address the problem for the majority of players. If you are currently logged into the game, you may need restart your client for this patch to take effect.*
For new players or fresh installs, there will be a HackShield patch going out as part of the maintenance early next week. We anticipate that these two measures will correct the error.*
If any players are still experiencing this problem after the maintenance, we would ask that you post on the below forum thread or send a ticket*and include the following:*
*- A screenshot of the error message,
*- The type of Operating System you have,
*- The date of occurrence,
*- The type of antivirus you have installed.
Our GM team will then work to find you a solution to fix the issue.*
