And Travis is coming .
But first, I need a format.
I only really get one GRAND prize: a League of Legends hoodie (all participants receive lanyards and bracelets, hurray!). But, I need a format that distributes the maximum fairness, takes the least amount of time, but most of all, is so fun that everyone enjoys being there.
I only have about 10 desktops, so only one match can go on at a time. We're showing the match on a projector, and they'll b pizza and soda and stuff.
I've had one tournament format in mind.
1) Random Teams, best of one. After each round, teams are randomized again. Last winning team decides on the player who gets the hoodie, or, fights itself. I'll try to distribute the team so it's 3 weaker players vs 2 stronger players, and so on and so forth. (So it'll either be a 1 v 1 or a 2 weaker vs 1 stronger, yada yada).
Of course, I've had rebuttals.
2) Random initial teams, best of one. However, after each round the team is not randomized.
3) Teams are not random. Everyone decides on their team in the beginning.
What do you guys believe would be best?
