    It specifically says "OTHER cannon shooter skills", so nope.

    Monkey push w/ blast back is huge for us. Having the option to evade through a long aerial approach vs a shorter grounded positioning tool is amazing. Plus the option to escape from DR without being forced to deal damage is well needed.

    I read from OrangeMushroom and it says, "Debuffed monsters will take 200% damage every second for 20 seconds and will take 20% increased damage from all of Cannon Shooter’s skills."

    Oh i read it wrong. Seems redundant for the 20% boost to affect itself, but i guess we'll see.

    Monkey Furious animation and explode seems a bit funny.
    I like how Rainbow become an install skill too!

    Was Rolling Rainbow nerfed? Because I see it hitting once in the video, while it hits twice now.

    With the translated version it said it's hitting 2 times, but you are right, Rainbow in the video doesn't look like it is hitting 2 lines.

    I have checked my own hyper skill in GMS and it actually didn't say it will hit 2 times. Now I am not sure was hitting twice a bug or was this bugged or just changed.

    It was nerfed in that it isn't affected by buckshot, but if it hits any differently from what it does without buckshot now it might be a bug.

    I saw the video before you posted it here. Monkey furious is odd. The ball makes me think that if you screw up you'll be missing out on 20 seconds of DoT and 20% damage, and screwing up seems easy. :(

    Seriously? They took out monkey madness but kept monkey wave? Also I'm guessing useless roulette is still here.

    Madness was out of place. It was one of two skills that didn't have a hitbox that was purely horizontally forward (something cannoneers didn't even really need). It was weak and it was slow.

    Instant cast wave on the other hand is actually useful in 3rd job and very early 4th job. Both it and roulette still give 10% damage and like 30% crit, and they still fit the themes of the character/class.

    Yes, the Monkey furious makes me worry.
    I have asked Max and this is the Q&A

    So I guess we need more vid to see what it actually is like.

    Monkey madness passive is +30% damage to Barrel bomb only while Roulette is +10% damage.
    Both are rather useless at best, but Roulette passive surely beats madness.
    Monkey Waves gives huge chunk of crit % too!

    Well, they can just move the passives to other skills like what happen to archers' spirit link and elite puppet.

    Except cannoneers don't need to be fully reworked. RED brought all adventurers other than these two up to their level and then some, while this patch was meant to clean some things up. (the animations, a few buffs, and mechanics to make them even more "on par") If they were to scrap wave and roulette it would not only take away from the gambling theme pirates have, it would probably end up making cannoneers have more passives/buffs than actives which would either create conflict or would make them overpowered compared to the other two pirates.

    Because I can't wait for maths, so I tried to do my own maths here (cannon only).

    If I am right tho, Barrage and Bazooka will have very very similar (with only 675 DPM(%) in favor of barrage) at speed 5 (which most 3rd job+ cannon will be).
    Slower or quicker than that will have a bigger gap but compare it to what we currently have in gms, the margin is still very close.

    This, however, does not take the 20%PDR into consideration.

    Afaik, almost everyone knows Black Mage is the transcender, and also about the fact that he wasn't a villain previously until he forsaken his good side. So it is kinda odd that no one is able to make the inference that White Mage is Black Mage before he turn into baddie. Especially when he is one of the transcender.
