CriticismsBy the end of next year, all homes currently connected to the internet will be contacted by their Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and asked whether they would like family filters disabled. The filter will be automatically enabled for new customers setting up broadband accounts or switching providers unless a request is made to disable it.
A customer that does not respond to their ISP will have filters installed automatically, blocking all access to pornography.
An absolutely ridiculous idea. Rather than making sex education in the UK actually decent or god forbid, actually talking to our children and working to keep them safe ourselves, lets instead impose restrictions on EVERYONE.
I'm quite sick of living in prudish England. We should be more liberal like the rest of Europe. No sex on tv, poor sex education and now this.
In unrelated English news, as of 4 hours ago our new Prince of Cambridge was born! that's exciting.
