1-handed vs. 2-handed on a Dawn Warrior?

For the sole purpose of soloing Ark which would be best to use?

I used 1h. Cheaper scrolls, cheaper low end items.

Well, this DW is completely unfunded and horribly equipped. I got a pinnacle set and it helped a bit, and whichever one I ended up using I was just going to throw some of those 50% scrolls on it.

So, DPS-wise let's say a 1-handed and a 2-handed that has the same attack, which would deal more damage in the long run?

Originally, 1h and 2h were balanced: 1h has better speed, 2h has a higher multiplier, total DPS ends up the same.
However, the more attack you have outside your weapon (on gloves and other armor, from blessing or other skills, from potions), the more the balance tilts towards 2h. Especially if you don't have an attack shield.
