  1. Default Things GMS may (not) get


    I just wanted to compile a list of things that KMS has changed/released that GMS may or may not get.

    For starters, these are the things we didn't get/will not get in Unleashed (equivalent of Unlimited?):
    - Equipment drop rates increased
    - Higher chance for Epic tier potential from dropped equips
    - Additional Options
    - Boss monsters drop Occult cubes
    - Rewards from boss monsters automatically distributed amongst party members
    - Item Drops normalized

    List of KMS changes:
    Ver 1.2.183
    - EXP Penalty on monsters 21 levels above
    Ver 1.2.190
    - EXP Penalty on monsters 31 levels above
    - EXP Penalty applies to monsters above lv150

    Ver 1.2.191
    - Soul Weapons
    Ver 1.2.193
    - EXP penalty for monsters below your level removed
    Ver 1.2.195
    - Monster respawn time is decreased
    - Mastery book store

    This means we've already got it.
    What are the chances we won't get some or any of these changes? From the looks of Unleashed we missed some things, so certainty isn't possible.

    If I missed anything, feel free to tell me and I'll include it on the list. If I have mistaken anything feel free to correct me. Sources are Max's blog (ofc) and Leafre patch summaries.

    @Bomber: Alright thanks. That's odd, how did we get that already. Btw, does exp penalties also apply to drop rates as well? I am never clear about that...

    We haven't gotten occult cube drops from bosses (just search for "strange cube" in max's blog)

    Also don't think we got individual loot from bosses, though I haven't fought any bosses in a party since the patch to confirm this.

    @Zodiac: I'm kind of glad we didn't get individualized drops. That would mean less chances of being invited to a party.

    I would be much more likely to party with the individualized drops, especially with things like Occult Cubes dropping from bosses. I'd feel like a huge jerk picking something like that up if I felt like I was taking it away from someone else.

    Also, along side the equip drop rate increase, we don't have the changes to actual equip drops. I believe that monsters were changed to drop equips much closer to their level, or something of the sort. So combined with the increase drop rate, it would be much more pleasurable trying to collect equips for characters <3
    I very much hope those updates come in the near future~

    I believe that is KMST content ATM. Since it isn't finalized, I don't want to put it in the list just yet.

    No, I think it came with KMS unlimited, with equips varying in level(like a level 110 equip in looks, but level 130).I think @iAmFear; would be able to help with this sort of thread.

    I feel like this thread serves no purpose other than to attempt to archive and indirectly beg for them to be localized.

    No real good reason why we shouldnt get

    - Equipment drop rates increased
    - Higher chance for Epic tier potential from dropped equips

    In my opnion anyway, would be beneficial for everyone mostly. Hopeing we get that one soon like we should.

    That is likely the weakest thing. I mean we get all the boss changes from KMS but no shared party drops?

    Does anyone know if the drop rate increase is strictly for equipment, or does it apply to other item drops as well (ie Scrolls, etc.)?

    Even if it's the former, there would be less incentive for players to buy 2x drop cards in that regard.

    Strictly equips, as mentioned in Orange Mushroom's blog.

    You might want to remove Additional Options since it's already been confirmed that GMS won't get it so that's not up in the air.

    Nexon staff members say a lot that doesn't hold up over time. It might be a while, but I get the feeling we'll absorb the system eventually, even if it's 2014.

    Cubes won't drop from bosses or normal mobs. And we won't be able to craft them because Nexon is greedy.

    mark my words.

    I have a feeling we will get cube crafting but no cube drops.

    We got boss changes but I haven't experienced any bosses being able to instant kill or %based damage (ie. VL's eye lazers are an instant kill or something) other than Root Abyss bosses or Magnus.
