Can no longer cube locked items?

Excuse my ignorance if this was announced somewhere and I missed it. I'm posting in case this is a bug and not the intended functionality. Previously, even if an item was item locked, you could still cube it, but it appears that this has changed?

Is anyone else seeing this functionality when using bonus pot carved slot cubes? I'm actually pleased that you can no longer cube when locked, but it means I have to wait a bit for my items to unlock then before I can cube the bonus pots.

I remember we discussed this with Girasol, and some people were saying it was good you could cube, while others said it was bad because a hacker could ruin your gear out of spite.
Guess this is the outcome, or the cause, of that discussion.

Ah yes, see, I wasn't sure if it was a bug or intended functionality. I think in the long run, it is great that cubes can be used when you have a locked item. But it seems like this might be bugged atm anyway.

my bow was fully cubed before i locked it, so i cant really help there. but i did find it interesting that i could bonuspot it (including the additional lines when they were released), and cube the bonus pot, but i couldnt add a nebulite to it?

Super and Enlightening cubes still work on locked items.

well atm you cant use carve cube on anyitem because it bug ... and blame nexon for having that sales that doesn't even work

all the other cube is working

the only cube that doenst work is carver cube

cube still work on lock item but all carver cube doesn't work on anyitem

If your item has 3 lines of Bonus Potential I don't think it can be cubed.
I've tried it with a few 1L Bonus Potential and it worked!
I don't have anything with 2 lines of Bonus Potential tho so I can't test it.

Confirming it works on 2 line Bonus Potential as well. A friend of mine recubed his sword earlier today and it worked.
