And no other movie I have seen has ended in such a cliffhanger... I did not expected it to end where it ended.

Really? I guessed that was exactly when they would end it, they need a cliffhanger for the last movie. And they can't exactly kill of Smaug before the last movie, or start a fight and cut off in the middle of it.

Golden Smaug was pretty cool, too bad it didn't last. It looked amazing in Real 3D. The scene with Bombur fighting in the barrel was hilarious. Hated the spiders... euh... Fight scenes were better overall from the last movie. That Sauron-secption with the fire was neat.
