Why does every new class need to attack really fast and/or do 10+ hits with their skills (especially with the current damage cap in KMS)? It's so weird seeing another Warrior, who only wields two-handed swords, attack as fast as a thief.

Because clearly the Maple world needed one to counteract Kaiser. I don't know, it's stupid as all hell especially when Thunder Breakers and Wind Archers had attacks reminiscent of their old selves while Soul Masters got so much of an image change I don't think I could tell one apart in action unless they had the sword buff on.
I find the skills quite boring to be honest. Is that many lines of damage really necessary for a Warrior? warriors should hit hard, not fast. Hayato is an exception.
Dawn Warriors skills don't even look fast, and they do more lines of damage than the actual times it hits, it looks lazy.
Indeed. Hayato should hit fast because his fighting style and weapon both rely on it, while a two-handed sword should be better applied to skills with high %s and lower hits/speed. It's just really bad design which is a shame because I do like the sun and moon systemeven though that sounds like both Phantom and Luminous got something ripped off them.
Disliking Soul Master.
The effects and colors are like SUPER bright and makes me think that these animations belong in like... MVC or Street Fighter or something...
They focused too much on lines of damage. Soul master is supposed to be a revamped dawn warrior not a confusing ill-connected class. I honestly don't care what the skills copied from or what they look like but rather that the play style seems like copy-paste jumpy-jumpy garbage.
Just give them the jump skill all warriors have and call it a day.
Change the colors of the moves to be more subtle. (sun and moon should be more firey/icy.)
Make a better looking 1v1 attack and less funky looking mob attacks.

As I said in the other thread the whole sun and moon them doesn't really work for me. For Dawn Warrior at least, it's an interesting system itself I guess.
I swear one of those skills has the same sounds effect as one of Hayato's
I feel like everyone else too regarding the number of hits the attacks do.
But I'll reserve final judgement for now till I see the class in action a bit more. It's not like i was that interested in the class anyway. But they do manage to make Mihile look even more uninspiring and bland, if that's even possible.
They did say the class would get some of its skills changed. I'm going to wait 'til then.
Boring attacks, noisy effects, too many lines, recycled ideas, no interesting perks like Wind Archer's movement or Tunder Breaker's chaining skills.
Maya: Can afford to get a significantly larger house. Can't afford to get rid of sickness.
