Welcome back box?

What the hell is this? I've been playing for the past 3 days and suddenly got a "Welcome back box" from the Hot-day gift box icon upon logging in today.

It consists of:

• Tempest equipment box: Which gives one weapon of choice, one Tempest Hat, Overall, Shoes and Gloves. No ring/belt/pendant/earrings or shoulderpad.
  
• SP/AP resets
  
• 30 day Yeti mount coupon
  
• A 90-day Porcupine pet
  
• A 90-day Hyper Teleport Rock
  
• One safety charm (90day)
  
• Auto HP/MP Pouches + Meso Magnet + Item Pouch (90 day)

Has anyone else gotten anything like this?

Hmm...is this where Tempest Katanas are coming from? I thought it was hacks since I've only seen them in hacker stores, but I suppose it could be from them because they have so many accounts.

EDIT: I got more on a bunch of mules. Seem like a common enough thing. You probably have to quit for an extended amount of time periodically like I do or something.

Well, their goal is to make money. I can see this being a real hook for those who thought they'd maybe drop by to see what all the Hayato fuss is about.
