Not really, the blues are just info and the only vital one for this test was the one thing you got a ✓ on. It basically tells that you've got an IPv6 address and what it is, possibly telling your provider too.

Well looks like my ISP is half there..

0/10 however since the DNS cannot resolve IPv6 urls yet. =(

    Public libraries don't like IPv6 :(

I'm reading a 0/10 like I ought to be now.

Your IPv4 address on the public Internet appears to be 65.43.174.17

No IPv6 address detected [more info]

Good news! Your current configuration will continue to work as web sites enable IPv6. [more info]

You appear to be able to browse the IPv4 Internet only. You will not be able to reach IPv6-only sites.

Your DNS server (possibly run by your ISP) appears to have no access to the IPv6 Internet, or is not configured to use it. This may in the future restrict your ability to reach IPv6-only sites. [more info]
    Your readiness score
0/10 for your IPv6 stability and readiness, when publishers are forced to go IPv6 only

    yay....

Yeah, FiOS doesn't have IPv6 support, or it's just not enabled in our areas at this time. I have FiOS as well but have the same issue you do.

I should call and ask about it, but I have no idea what the expected timeline is for the forced IPv6 change.

Well it's already been in progress for 10 years now...
The problem with adoption is there isn't anyone or anything to say "you must do it by this date" because no one owns the internet, it's entirely based on collaboration; In many ways ISPs are nothing more than the original P2P networks.

i have a cert for ipv6 but i forgot what i learnt during the course. :S

How peculiar. I scored a seven as well, yet can't connect to it.

    School internet. I dunno.

  10. Default Re: So, how many of you are ready?

    Yeah, that's true...
I guess I was expecting more of a generally agreed upon date to really start pushing it, at least between the US ISPs and website holders.

Sorry for bump but I'm getting a 10/10 now compared to a 0/10 I got a few days ago.

  13. Default Re: So, how many of you are ready?

    1/10

Comcast what are you trying to tell me?

    And nope:
    Spoiler

Could it possibly be the new router I bought that gave me the 1/10?

  14. Default Re: So, how many of you are ready?

i tried again and now i have something that says:

"Your IPv6 address on the public Internet appears to be X
Your IPv6 service appears to be: Teredo"

    instead
    it's still 0/10. lol

it.. also posted a different ipv4 address, which i have NEVER seen this address before
    WHAT

edit: it's pointing at a verizon login page so i guess its ok

  15. Default Re: So, how many of you are ready?
