    Nexon posted a patch for KMS version 186 upgrade to version 187.
    You may download this patch from their official site and begin creating your pre-patcher now.
    Extractions and database updates will be forthcoming (if supported)!

    Apparently you don't gain AP or SP after 200, and the quests that are normally at 200 are still there, and Hall of Fames weren't changed? But I could just be reading that wrong.

    Lv 200 이후 레벨업 시 AP는 5포인트가 지급되며 SP는 지급되지 않습니다.
    최고 레벨 퀘스트(훈장) 및 명예의 전당 입성 등은 기존과 동일하게 Lv 200에 수행할 수 있습니다.

    Also, the changed the 150 set effect again:
    2 Pieces: 20 Main/Second Stat, 1000 HP/MP
    3 Pieces: 10% HP/MP, 20 ATT or MATK
    4 Pieces: 30 ATT or MATK, 9% Total Damage

    You'll notice that 40% Boss Damage has been taken from the set effect, that's because the weapons themselves now inherently come with 40% Boss Damage.

    Xenons lose out from changing +all to +primary/secondarystat.

    According to the patch notes, and Google Translate (I really should've taken Korean instead of Japanse T~T)

    "최고 레벨 확장에 따라 랭킹도 새로 갱신이 되며, 확장 이전의 랭킹은 메이플 홈페이지 내에서 별도로 확인할 수 있도록 개선 될 예정입니다."

    I think this means there's a separate ranking for 201+ characters?

    No ap or sp after 200? That lowers the chance of 5th job :(

    So what is our motivation to level past 200, Nexon? I'll bite, throw me a bone here.

    Edit: Separate rankings? I bet a lot of people will be overjoyed to see that.

    That's what I wanted regarding Hall of Fames. But the changes to the equipment are a mixed bag. Good for people not wanting to ditch their Empress, Homecoming Victory or whatever, good for the prices of non-weapon 150 items, because of the first reason and the Set Effect doesn't blow anything away. Bad for people wanting the weapons because they just rocketed in price. Are all the pieces PSOK immediately a la Tyrants or PSOK after equip like Empress? And there isn't any Superior tag, is there?

    *shrugs* I rather like it, now instead of leveling for stats or skills, it's purely leveling for the sake of leveling. It's not required for you to be higher or anything, so if you want to stop at 200, just stop.

    I'm sure this will change once they have content for level 200+, though.

    Also, it seems you gain AP but not SP? Which I guess makes sense.

    They're untradeable upon equipping, and no, they're not Superior.

    This will be their way of introducing high level dungeons to the game then. You'll level not for skills or buffs (this may change, hopefully) but for access to areas that will be worth the effort in some way.

    Hopefully, anyway.

    Awesome! Hope it stays this way, makes lvl 150 gear okey but it doesnt make empress utter pomegranate.

    So... for those that love boss % dmg so much, you'd grab a fafnir wpn for 40% boss, 10pdr, and empress set sub wpn for shoulder and volia 70% boss dmg. I don't know how you'd fair that against Tyrant equips and the extra stats from top and bottom though.

    If theres no reward past 200, I'll be stopping promptly. Why would I level when theres no incentive? To say that I leveled? And even if new dungeons and areas await past 201, what incentive do I have to visit them and train there?

    It's bad enough leveling to 170-180 and having only pointless skills left to add points to. (40-odd seconds of Party Shield doesn't seem worth 30+ more hours of grinding to me, nor does Maple Warrior since I'll never be able to afford the books). This is sad news indeed.

    EDIT: Does anyone else think those Cygnus hats scream "Jett"?

    Well, I wish you gained a little AP per level. Even 1 AP would be enough. Not a big deal, but a small reward for leveling. Oh well, I'm happy they did this anyway.

    Well, you'll gain the ability to fight 200+ mobs due to how the level penalties work.
