Phantoms were never that strong unless you had stupid fundings.
The nerf killed it even more, by reducing buff duration/damage, implementing cooldowns on switching skills, AND nerfing mille/aria.
To this day I still think it was unnecessary, although it helped a few people back off on the phantom bandwagon.
Still, I've never used RF over mille so that's OK, and hypers kinda balance out the lost mille damage. Kind of stupid considering how hyperes were meant to buff, not just balance it out.
the BIG nerf, was aria. 10% total damage is quite large, and it definitely impacted player ranges.
However, I'll still stick by my phantom :P Love its adaptability way too much to try a different thief as a main
