You arrive as a group to investigate the building. It is, characteristically for a building, quiet. You ask the building what is going on - it maintains its promised right to remain silent. In the living room you find a large pool of blood surrounding a body. This man, once occasionally speaking at a decibel level just above the minimum needed to be heard from a few feet away, will now be forever quiet. There is a note attached to his corpse:
By now, I am sure you are all quiet concerned at the events that have been unfolding. Allow me to clarify things, so that you may cease worrying and start running in fear. This is our town, now. It will be quiet no more. You will leave, or you will die.
