Hey fellow iOS/iPhone users obviously disappointed with Apple Maps, GREAT NEWS! A friend of mine works at Google, and look what they're releasing tomorrow:

Finally it'll be like old times again :).

Ah thank you!! The main thing I hated about the new iPhone Map App is that since I'm on campus I like to know buses I can take to get to where I need to go and the new update took that away and forced you to download some pomegranatety transit app.
This should solve my problems thanks!
Apple maps has it's upsides. Notifications and information on lock screens and ribbons are really nice. If google maps has that integration i'll get it.
(though i'll likely get it regardless)

apple maps is pretty cool, but i think you might appreciate this article.
Wow, they just tried to make Google obsolete on their products and it's slowly working. :/
I approve of this. Good job, Google, and I've sorely missed your maps.
I'm like Connor. For walkers/users of public transit, there's no competition, Google Maps is better. Though I was actually doing okay with public transit with HopStop (which is still unparalleled for offline major city transmit maps, like D.C., NYC, etc.), what Google Maps does better than ANYONE is being able to find any place you type in, even if it's simply "Chemistry Library" or "Microbial Sciences." It's finding the exact address when you're not exactly sure that makes a world of difference on the go.
I had enjoyed the Apple maps app. I had no problems with it, but still I downloaded google maps just for the heck of it. I will never go back to Apple Maps again. :)
