I thought the real problem with MegaUpload and the guy was money laundry, not only "being directly responsible for illegally uploaded content on the site".
Fun stuff. The site is already up, and apparently U.S. authorities were trying to crash the site. Oh lol

Dotcom has been saying Megaupload would be back soon for months. The only thing I gleaned from the Yahoo article is the decryption keys bit.
That decryption key thing is a REALLY interesting move for a file sharing service. Basically moves all the heat towards who uses the site as opposed to the other way around.
Sounds good. I used MegaUpload for a long time before it went down so I hope this meets, or goes beyond, those standards.
After reading the story on him in Wired, I'm kinda laughing at anything the US authorities try to do.
I really never used megaupload. To many ads just to get to the download link and the download limit.
It would be so nice if it could come back, maybe even MegaVideo. I dearly miss being able to watch so much stuff streamed online, maybe I'm just really inept but ugh I miss MegaVideo.
The megaupload creator have been in the works on a new and better megaupload simply called "Mega" so far. Do note that he has taken extra steps to avoid any server or physical stuff in the U.S.
Good Guy Jdownloader, skiping adfly (Maybe even similar sites too) links for you.
