because I just saw in some quest dialogue that PVP is leaving on the 17th.
Or was it removed with something else.
But this strongly hints that we're getting another big update in less than two weeks.

Aren't we supposed to get Gladiator mode after?
If this is the case will mobs drop emblems again?
What is the point of all this ? ....
It sucks anyways.
At this point, I'd be okay with them removing pvp all together.
The point of Grand Battle is to recruit new Maplers and train them to fight against the Black Magician or in this case ''Mr. World Domination''. Anyway PvP in MapleStory sucks, so be glad it's going away.
And Tempest is coming in December for GMS. It was said on one of the Maple World WORLD videos I believe. So before Tempest, you're getting other content such as Fantastic Theme Park.
It feels like it's faster because KMS takes at least three times the development periods than GMS does. GMS was able to bring champions over something like a month and a half after mutiny, where in KMS the revamps took much longer. The reason GMS is working so fast is because there was a lot of completely unnecessary events that KMS was having at the time (anniversary) that they were able to cut out real easily which cut down the time it took to localize everything. GMS is also making it feel like less time by cramming a lot more within their updates than anyone here expects them to because some people are still stuck with the mindset that we copy KMS down to the letter which includes what we get on a patch by patch basis.
The development is done in Korea so it is typical to say that it takes KMS a bit longer than GMS in releasing updates. There is no point for GMS to release the Champions update in separate patches (Warrior, Magician & Archer) like KMS did. The reason why Korea released their version of Champions in separate patches is because they were still developing and changing the stuff.
All classes don't have Hyper Skills yet, but they will. But it takes development to create these skills so they're releasing them in small patches. Big chance that Tempest in GMS will get all the Hyper Skills in one update.
What unnecessary events are you talking about? The anniversary events were superb.
I feel that Hyper Skills being in one patch may be too chaotic for GMS.
I understand that. That's my point.
In tempest? Naw, hyper skills for novans and heroes would have to be left out of tempest in order to push a separate big update (like mutiny) where literally every hyper skill comes all at once, and i doubt that will happen. In the big update KMS is having now, with the development coming out in segments like it was during champions development? I could see that.
It isn't our anniversary, so anything and everything related to it is unnecessary until next spring.
