Is it possible to revert the changes done by a Mysterious Anvil in the case that I want to go back to the way the item originally looked?
As far as I know, you'll only be able to revert the changes by using another item with the original appearance to anvil it back.
That's what I was thinking but I just wanted confirmation, thanks.
i have a quick anvil question while we're at it.
say i have a Czak helmet that looks like android headgear, and i use it to anvil a third item
will the third item look like a czak, or an android headgear?
I only tried this on Tespia, so I'm not sure this is still true, but the anvil'd item will take on the current appearance of the item, no matter what the item was originally
Bonus question: Can you anvil a locked item to look like something else? And can you anvil something to look like a locked item?
another bonus question, could you anvil Female only or Male only gears to a gear that can be worn by both genders?
Yet another bonus question: What happens to the items you're "anviling"? Do they both get deleted?
Got a quick question also.. If you want to anvil, will it not matter if your item is rare, epic, unique, or legendary? Will the stats still transfer or do they both need to be the same tier?
Extra Bonus Question: Is it possible to use an anvil to a thief top to look like a warrior top?
Extra extra bonus question. will an anviled equip get the other equip's effect, or vice versa? For example, would a reverse staff turned into a bain staff get the floaty effect, or the opposite, would a zak helm turned into an empress helm keep its floaty effect.
Bonus question number 9001: Other than getting the 'function' item's stats, will the new get the function item's potential capability even if it has the appearance of, say, a lvl 10 item?
