Summary: Unknown NX Purchase in game I do not play.
Details: Jul 28, 2011 Dungeonfighter-Arad Trading License 4,500 0 4,632
I logged on today in Maple Story and went into the MTS to figure out I had lost 4.5k on a purchase that I did not make. I logged online to see what was bought. apparently i "purchased" something from Dungeon Fighter Online today. I will note that i have not played Dungeon Fighter Online since the Maple Mash Up event. I'm just wondering if its possible to be refunded on a purchase I never made. As saftey precautions, I am changing my Password if this was an attempt at hacking my account.

Greetings,
Thank you for contacting Nexon Customer Support.
I have reviewed your ticket regarding your Missing NX. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I understand how important this is to you, and I am sorry for the delay any inconvenience this has caused you.
We reviewed your payment charges and have confirmed your claim. It appears that there were unauthorized charges to your account. Once again, I'm very sorry for our delayed response. In addition, I'm pleased to say that we will be compensating you 5,700 NX. Please note that it will be deposited into your account within 7-10 business days.
Here are a few preventative measures to help prevent this from occurring again in the future:
- Change your Goblin Pad pin
- Change your password every 3 months. We suggest that you make them to include a combination of letters, numbers, and a symbol (e.g. !#*_) and at a length of 10 characters. Please avoid creating passwords that are very simple like "123456."
- Update the security questions on your account.
- Run a virus/spyware check on your computer in order to make sure there are no malicious programs or "Trojan Horse" type of key loggers installed and running.
- Avoid suspicious websites resembling the Nexon.net website. They may attempt to use a key logger and obtain your personal information.
